Her words sent a wave of shock through the entire hall.
Lucas completely lost control. He lunged at Anila like a madman and sank his teeth into her arm.
"You b***h! You're lying! When did I ever say that?! I'll kill you! I'll kill you!"
The bodyguards immediately pinned him to the ground.
Anila lost a finger in the struggle. Blood poured onto the floor. Yet she only laughed harder.
"You think I came unprepared? I recorded everything. You're not getting out of this."
The last shred of hope vanished from Lucas's face.
