Cameron, go and tell the king that the woman is here,” Dean said. “Okay, boss,” Cameron said and walked into the palace. “Greetings!! Royal Family!! The woman is outside,” Cameron said. “Let her come in...,” King Rehoboth said. “Okay, my king,” Cameron said and walked out. “The king said we could bring her in,” Cameron said when he got out. The guards ruthlessly dragged Charlotte into the palace. Charlotte screamed continuously, but the guards didn’t allow her to escape. “It’s okay..., stop dragging her,” King Rehoboth said as the guards and others entered the palace. They walked towards the throne. “I acknowledge my monarchs,” Charlotte said with her knees down. “Stand up!! Don’t seduce the king; pretender!” queen Mackenzie said. “I am sorry, my queen,” Charlotte said and stood up. “We hold some grudges against your husband,” King Rehoboth said. “Some grudge?!” Charlotte said. “Yes! Do you know this woman?” King Rehoboth said, referring to Adalyn. “No, I don’t,” Charlotte said. “Adalyn, do you?” King Rehoboth said. “No; I don’t know her either, my king,” Adalyn said. “Alright. What’s your name?” King Rehoboth said, referring to Charlotte. “I am Charlotte, professor MacPherson’s wife,” Charlotte said. “That’s a commendable introduction. Where is your husband?” King Rehoboth said. “He has gone to his place of work,” Charlotte said. “Really?!” King Rehoboth said. “Yes; I cannot lie to my king,” Charlotte said. “Your husband is a murderer! You haven’t gotten a husband!” King Rehoboth said. “What?! How?!” Charlotte said. “Good question. Hear what happened from the horse's mouth. Adalyn, speak!” King Rehoboth said. “Your husband, professor MacPherson, sent killers to the Golden Inn during my husband’s 30th birthday party. The killer-men killed Gilbert, who they thought was my husband. They also killed two other men,” Adalyn said. “Liar!! My king, don’t answer this woman,” Charlotte said. “You better keep quiet, or I will slap you!!” Dominic said angrily, and stood up. “It’s okay,” the queens and Hazel said. “It’s okay, my son. Sit down. Look here Charlotte, nobody lies here. Adalyn, continue!” King Rehoboth said. “Alright, my king. Charlotte, I have also trusted your husband until the day he walked into our house to return the land document he stole. Since then, my trust in him has drastically reduced. Recently, some gangsters invaded the street I live in and killed every living soul, including my husband,” Adalyn said, and started sobbing. “Not at this time again. Be consoled,” King Rehoboth said. “My king, this woman doesn’t have any evidence to attest everything she just said, so why believe her?” Charlotte said. “You are mad and need to be refrained!!” queen Mackenzie said. “It’s okay, my queen. Charlotte, you've really proven to love your husband. However, if, in the end, your husband is guilty of the allegations, you will not go scot-free,” King Rehoboth said. “I trust my husband; he can’t do that,” Charlotte said. “Alright. Guards, take the foolhardy away,” queen Mackenzie said. “Alright, our queen,” the guards said and dragged Charlotte out of the palace. “Leave me alone!! Leave me alone!!” Charlotte said all along. “Adalyn, you can go to your room now,” King Rehoboth said. “Thank you, my king,” Adalyn said and walked away.
