The gangsters entered the car and masked themselves. Dickson sat in the driver’s seat and drove the car away. At about 12:50 pm, they reached a street. Trades were going on in this street between buyers and sellers. Dickson parked the car beside a signboard with the inscription “Beauty mall.” The gangsters came out of the car and began to disrupt the economic activities taking place between buyers and sellers. The armed men shot bullets into the air. There was a pandemonium and uproar in the street as passersby, traders and buyers began to get on their heels. Before this incident, the workers of beauty mall had already known the mall was unsafe since they saw broken doors and the scattered state of the mall when they started their day's operations. The gangsters entered the mall and found no single soul there. The workers and buyers had already run for their dare lives through the back doors. “We f****d up! These people are gone already,” Logan said. “They must have heard the sounds of our guns. Well, guys, check everywhere; we should be able to get hold of some money,” Charles said. “Alright, boss,” the gangsters said. The gangsters checked the whole shop and could see some money. They gathered the money together. “Boss, this is 1, 000 USD,” Dickson said. “Wow! Incredible!” the gangsters chorused. “Dickson, keep the money in your pocket and let’s move out of here,” Charles said. “Alright, boss,” Dickson said. Dickson squeezed the money into a smaller size and stuck it into his back pocket. The gangsters moved out of the mall. They began to shoot the mall. They made holes in the walls of the mall with their guns' bullets. “Can we go now?” Jeremy said. “We can’t go; we need more money. You and Logan should go into nearby shops while me and Dickson stay here as guards,” Charles said. “Alright, boss,” Logan and Jeremy said. Logan and Jeremy walked into the nearby shops and began to scatter everywhere. Dickson and Logan stood outside and continued shooting bullets into the air. After a thorough search, Logan and Jeremy walked to meet Charles and Dickson. “Did you see any money?” Charles said. “Yes, boss,” Logan said. “Count the money,” Charles said, and released his last bullet into the air. Logan counted the money and realized 2, 000 USD. He recounted again to clarify his doubt. “2, 000 USD!” Logan said. “Wow!! We are rich!” Jeremy said. “Now, give the money to Dickson,” Charles said. “Alright, boss,” Logan said. Logan gave the money to Dickson and he added it to the one in his back pocket. “Shall we go now?” Dickson said. “Yeah,” the gangsters said. The gangsters entered their car. Dickson moved the car backwards and later joined the straight lane. They encountered traffic on the road, but they were able to maneuver it. However, minutes after the gangsters left, the affected left their hideouts. They couldn’t hold their cries; they cried and pacified one another. “The king must hear this!” one trader, Leilani, said with a quavering voice. Some good citizens of the state, California, walked to king Rehoboth's palace. One of them knocked at the gate. Lucas ran to the direction of the gate and opened the gate. “Hi! Guard!” Lucas said. “We are citizens of California; we are here to see the king,” Abigail said. “Alright. Please, come in while I go in to inform the king,” Lucas said. “Okay,” the citizens said. Lucas closed the gate after the citizens had entered. He walked in the direction of the palace. When he got to the inner chamber, everywhere was silent; he couldn’t see anyone. Lucas walked in the direction of the king’s bed chamber. “My king, are you inside?” Luca said behind the door after knocking on the door twice. “You have altered my siesta. What do you want?” King Rehoboth said sleepily. “My king, I am very sorry. Some good citizens of California are here to see you,” Lucas said. “Have you sent them away?” King Rehoboth said. “No, my king. They are at the gate,” Lucas said. “Usher them to the inner chamber; I will join them soon,” King Rehoboth said, and sat on one side of his bed. “As my king pleases,” Lucas said. Lucas walked out of the palace. When he reached the gate, he told the citizens to go and wait for the king in the inner chamber. “Thank you, guard,” the citizens said. The citizens walked to the inner chamber. They sat on different seats. After waiting for about 3 minutes, King Rehoboth walked to the inner chamber in his regalia. “Long live our king,” the citizens chorused. “Thank you all!” King Rehoboth said. King Rehoboth sat down and supported himself with his office staff. He looked at the citizens' faces one after the other and couldn’t recognize any of them. “Are you sure you are Californians?” King Rehoboth said. “Yes, our king,” the citizens said. “But your faces are not familiar,” King Rehoboth said. “The king may not recognize the commoners' faces,” Harper said. “It’s okay. What can I do for you? King Rehoboth said. “With due respect, my king, we are here as mouthpieces of the other citizens of California,” Henry said. “Go on!” King Rehoboth said. “The land is full of agonies, crimes and discomforts. We sent people to the half moon, but we haven’t seen them. We are worried about them. My only brother, Raphael, is part of them, my king. I want to know whether my brother is alive or dead,” Henry said. “Yes, we want to know whether our people are dead or alive,” Abigail said. “C’mon! Why would you talk like that? Our saviors are alive. We just need to exercise a little patience for them to return. When they come back, I am sure our land will be envied by other countries,” King Rehoboth said. “We hope so our king, because we are going out of patience,” Harper said. “Just chill; your saviors are coming back. The adventure to the half moon is a long one. They should be in this state in two months,” King Rehoboth said. “I am missing my brother very deeply; he should better come on time before I die of high blood pressure,” Henry said. “You won’t die, none of us will die. We shall all live to enjoy a new land when our saviors return,” king Rehoboth said. “We have heard from you, our king. Thank you for your time and the opportunity you gave common men like us to stand and have dialogues with you,” Harper said. “We are all ordinary men. I love your humility, woman,” King Rehoboth said. “Thank you, my king. You are the most humble here,” Harper said. “I disagree. Do you still have other things to say?” King Rehoboth said. “No, my king. Henry and Abigail, do you?” Harper said. “No, our king,” Henry and Abigail said. “Then, in the absence of no other discussion, we have to call it a day,” King Rehoboth said. “Long live the king!” the citizens said. The king left the inner chamber for his bed chamber while the citizens walked out of the palace.
