Caught In A Cuff

Aleesha's POV

"Aleesha...Aleesha your phone is ringing constantly. what are you doing up there? Come down fast and take away your phone it's disturbing me." Mom screamed from downstairs. I was busy reading my novel when I heard mom screaming. I realized I left my phone on the sofa downstairs. I quickly went down and saw mom deeply indulged in watching her favorite serial." Now I know why was my phone seemed to be a disturbance to u" I mocked at mom. She did not react to my words and kept staring at the TV screen. I picked my phone came back to my room upstairs.6 missed calls.. 2 from Zara and 4 from Arman. I called back to Arman instantly ignoring Zara's call for a while. "Baby can't you just pick my call for the first time. How many times have I told you to keep your phone with you? This is the last time I am warning you baby if u don't pick up my phone next time I won't talk to you." Arman said in an upset tone." Sorry baby please don't get upset on me. I promise this won't happen again." I convinced. "Okay! By the way, I called to tell you that I am on my way to your home. get ready fast we are going out for your shopping and then we will have lunch together." Arman told. "Shopping for what?" I asked. "For Zara's wedding baby. How can you forget your best friend's wedding? It's after two days and you have not shopped anything for it yet." Arman said. "I have not forgotten anything baby. Zara's missed calls were also there along with yours. I know she had called me to make sure that I am attending her wedding. But you also know that I am not going anywhere without you. That's why I have not called her back yet." I replied. " Okay, you get ready first, and then we will talk about it. Get ready quickly I am about to reach you. Love you!" Arman said before hanging up the phone. He is so cute at giving these surprise visits. He knows very well how to uplift my mood.  I went down to tell mom about Arman's shopping plans. "Okay, you can go but come back on time. do not make it very late ok?". Mom replied. "Yes, boss!" I replied and quickly went back to my room to get ready. Its been four years since I and Arman were dating each other and now we are about to get married soon but every time I meet him it still feels special like the first time. I love to wear his favorite colors just to see that smile on his face. I am so much into him.
