Aleesha's POV
I went inside the store to find a nice outfit. It was such a colorful view in there. So many glittery clothes with different shades of colors hung in hangers of various racks. I gave a quick glance at the ladies' section. I was gazing at the outfits when I spotted a cute little baby girl who was hardly two years age standing in the corner looking clueless and her eyes were full of tears. I felt quite weird seeing her alone. I looked around to find out her parents but to my surprise, nobody was there, she was all alone. Poor baby, I went straight to her. She got a little scared seeing me coming towards her. I went and sat on my knees infront of her, she took a step back. " Hello my baby, what are you doing here? where is your Mumma". I asked her holding her little hands into mine and tried to be as friendly as I could. I gave her a big smile so as to assure her that I was harmless. She looked a little relaxed." Mumma" was all she said making a sad face. How irresponsible could her mother be, where the hell was she leaving such a little baby alone." Don't worry baby, come let's find your Mumma" I said picking her up in my arms. I again looked around to see if anyone was around and again I found no one. "I think her mother must be the male section," I thought to myself. I turned towards the male section of the store. I saw a man standing at a little distance with his back turned towards me. He was wearing a royal blue knee-length kurta with a pair of white salwar. There were two more other guys with him who seemed to be his bodyguards. Both of them were wearing a black kurta with black salwar and were standing beside him. I could not see anyone else around except for him and his men. Maybe he was the guardian I was looking for. I went straight to him."Excuse me"I called him from the back. He turned around with a serious look. He was a fair-complexioned guy with dark brown hair and green eyes. His features were too noticeable to be ignored but the look that he gave was scary. I stepped one foot back.he was very tall, maybe more than 6 feet." Umm! actually I found this baby standing in the corner alone. Is she your baby?." I asked stammering. He continued staring at me without uttering a single word. I felt his eyeball move and he looked at me from top to bottom in a scrutinizing way, over and over. What's wrong with him? I started to feel uneasy. " Shanaya my baby." a male voice from behind broke the silence. I looked around to see who was he. I saw a couple walking in a hurry towards me. Maybe they were her parents." what the hell are you doing with my baby?" The lady yelled while snatching her daughter from me. I was shocked to hear such words from her. " but mam i..." I tried to explain." Just shut up! I know people like you very well. You kidnap kids for money. Look at your face you look so innocent but such a b***h you are from inside.I am just calling the cops and I'll handover you to them." she interrupted raising her voice. tears started rolling down my eyes. I could not believe the words she used for me. I tried explaining her but words were not coming out of me. I was speechless. Her husband grabbed my right arm trying to drag me out of the store when a sudden tight slap landed on his cheek. Everyone was shocked for a moment. the slap was so hard that the marks of fingers were clearly visible on his face. It was the blue kurta man who gave that tight slap and released me from the grip." How dare you touch her? I can cut off your hand for doing that. She is not a kidnapper, she was just helping your kid to find you. You may think that she is a kidnapper but u have no idea who I am. I can make you vanish from this whole world forever. so just take your family and get out of my sight right now." he said staring at them without raising his voice. Whatever he said and the way he said was more than enough to scare anybody to hell. I was scared too. My tears dried and my throat choked of fear. I wanted to run away from him but my body denied moving. His green piercing eyes were still staring at me. My heart began pounding hard and loud in fear as he moved towards me. "It's rare to find someone as innocent as you. Anyone can scare you easily" he whispered into my ear leaning towards me. He dared to come that closer to me but I was so scared to push him away.I took a step back and ran blindly out of the store. As I came out I saw Arman coming. I went and hugged him tightly." What happened baby? why are you crying? Oh my god, your body is trembling. Did anyone say anything to you? Come on baby speak up you are scaring me now. What happened tell me.? Arman kept asking me worriedly but I was not in a state to answer. I was too scared to speak. Arman patted my back trying to calm me down." Please baby speak up, tell me who troubled you?" He asked again.I composed my senses and finally spoke up." Please baby lets go somewhere else. I don't want to be here." I said crying. " But at least tell me the reason," Arman said." No, I'll tell later. let's leave first." I urged and he agreed. he wiped off my tears and took me to the parking. We sat in the car and drove towards the Manyavar showroom. I told him everything that happened.Arman was shocked to know everything. He burst into anger after listening to whatever happened back there. He wanted to drive back and beat the s**t out of that kid's father who dared to touch me. But I anyhow consoled him for not going back. We anyhow reached the showroom.Arman bought me a few dresses of his choice, after that, we had our lunch together and then he dropped me back home. The incident at the city mall ruined my mood so badly that I hardly spoke anything to Arman the whole day. After reaching home I told mom everything about the day. She gave the exact reaction as Arman did." Why can't you speak for yourself Aleesha? How could you allow anyone to harass you? This world is very harsh on people like you.Learn to speak up or else people will start taking advantage of you." Mom said trying to teach me. My ears were listening to her but my mind was still captivated by the thoughts of that incident. I was feeling restless. I could not get that scene out of my mind and that scary man, I can never forget him.
