Chapter 29 Marie I’ve barely rounded the corner when I need to pull over on the side of the road because I’m crying too hard to drive—because I’m driving away from Olivia. I find my gaze in the rear-view mirror. “Pull yourself together, for heaven’s sake.” I bang my hand on the steering wheel. Damn it. This was not supposed to be this hard. A surprisingly large part of me wants to turn around and head back to Olivia’s house, leap out of the car dramatically and run into her waiting, open arms.
