    Dante Black was a strange youth, he grew up with his grandfather as the only student of his dojo. Although he grew up in Japan, Dante is actually only half Japanese from his father. His other half is actually Norwegian from his mother. Unfortunately his parents died when he was only one and his Japanese grandfather took him in after he heard and tracked Dante down. Ever since Dante was two he trained in martial arts learning everything his grandfather could teach him.     When Dante turned ten he was admitted into the local middle school where he was immediately treated as the outcast after the first day. It wasn't entirely his own fault he had no real interaction outside of his grandfather and how was he supposed to know putting your teacher in a choke hold isn't something you are supposed to do? After all that's how his grandfather says hi back at the dojo so he just assumed that was common.     Of course this invited the flies, after all sure Dante put the teacher in a choke hold however, he is just one person, he couldn't be that scary right? After school that day three kids walked up to Dante with awkward malicious grin obviously not having the look down to pat yet. "From now on you are our servant brat." Goon number one steps forward. "I think ill pass. Thanks for the offer though." comments Dante as he starts walking past them. 'Wonder what a servant is? Ehh ill ask Gramps when I get back.' "Its not an offer. You do what we tell you know." Goon number two shouts as he steps forward and throws an awkward haymaker only to trip in the process and fall flat on his face. Everyone just paused and looked at the kid laying on the ground as he slowly got up with a face redder than a tomato. eventually Dante pipes up "You know if you want to throw a punch you should spread your legs and set your balance otherwise you trip over your own feet. Furthermore your footwork is a mess don't twist your legs. when you go for a punch" "SHUT UP." shouts the kid as he runs at Dante. Meanwhile the other two goons have finally snapped out of it and rushed at Dante. "Yet again none of you pay attention to footwork." sighs Dante as once again they all twist their bodies to throw a haymaker and once again trip over their own feet. Dante just walks away while saying over his shoulder "Stop turning yourself into pretzels its not going to get you anywhere when you fight. Arriving home Dante took of his shoes and went into the kitchen. "Hmm bread, mustard, mayo, some ham, lettuce, some milk, and some of Gramp's beer." pouring himself a glass of milk and making a basic sandwich Dante wolfs them both down before wandering over to the dojo. The Dojo was pretty simple, tatami mats covering the floor, simple square shape about ten meters on all sides and some weapons hanging on the wall. There were swords, spears, sabers, and two hand-axes, his mothers from what his grandfather told him. Dante hasn't learned any of them something about his foundation not being strong enough. whatever that means, Dante thought as he started his basic katas. After that he stretched a bit before leaving the the Dojo and starting on a 5km run.     Forty minutes later Dante returned to the Dojo enjoying the sight of the simple wooden building surrounded by sakura trees. There is a small pond in the backyard where some koi fish swim around happily. Walking in through the front door he saw and extra pair of shoes sitting by the front door. 'Gramps is home now. Wonder what he was doing.' Walking into the kitchen he saw an old man around 50 to 60 about 1.6 meters tall. Black hair with black eyes as opposed to Dante's black hair and blue eyes. The man simply known as Gramps to Dante turned around when he heard Dante and gave a simple smile while asking "Can you help me put away groceries? While you do so tell me how your first day went."     As Dante started putting the food away he started "Well I got into trouble for putting the teacher into a choke-hold." to his credit Gramp's eyes only twitched a bit "Then on my way home some kids came up to me and demanded that I be their servant before trying to punch me and failing miserably. Whats a servant?"     Meanwhile in Gramp's head 'I forgot to teach him common sense. s**t" with a sigh "Come I suppose it is time I teach you a bit about common sense."
