The alpha king's son

                           John POV  It's been 45 minutes or so that I've been following the sweetest scent I've smelled,the scent of pure honey and dark chocolate mixed together, wondering who that scent belongs to and what the person with such scent could be doing in these parts of the woods where rogues and new born vampires I've been sighted many times these week. The figure has on a dark long hoodie coat with purple insides,which suggest to me that the person is a high ranking person.   While I was in my thoughts I saw a ball like shaped light coming towards me and before I could dodge it hit my abdomen and I was thrown into a tree,I was about to get up when another ball came crashing on me this time hitting me on my chest. I crashed again on the floor this time with my face down.I bit my lip and cursed I stood up to look around but couldn't see anyone"stupid human let me out"George my wolf said I ignored him and try to get the scent again then I felt something from behind so I dodged then I felt a kick on my side rib cage which got me flying on a boulder.  "Let me out now you prick,I need to deal with this"my wolf shouted from the back of my mind I then huffed and went straight to my attacker and we fought.My attacker threw a leg which I caught and punched my attacker. Then I heard a sound which suggest to me that the figure in the hoodie is a female. My wolf tried to take control by force but I refused, while I was trying to regain control then I felt a sharp pain at the back of my neck,then I could no longer feel my legs,I fell as if I was paralyzed. My arms and legs couldn't move as well as my whole body. "I told you give me control but you wouldn't listen now you see"my wolf complained I then hissed and rolled my eyes.    I looked up and I saw the figure running away,but I noticed the boot my attacker more and a golden hand chain with a tiny purple sapphire stone in-between the interlocked chain. I could not get her scent anymore so I assumed she left by now. "So much for the best fighter of the pack,your ass was kicked by a girl how pathetic" my wolf said which got me angry." If you hadn't tried to take control maybe we wouldn't be in these mess" I replied my wolf." So what has she done to us?" I asked my wolf but he didn't reply. What a brute he is. My wolf then blocked our link and refused to talk to me.  Getting a taste I hate in my mouth I tried to spit it out but I couldn't,it's the taste of rotten oak three leave mixed with sand. Don't get me wrong I love nature but I hate the taste of fresh leaves not to talk of the rotten ones. My name is John walters,I am the crown prince of the royal pack in Texas. Actually my parents are the alpha king  Stephen Walters and queen Isabella Walters of the supernatural beings. I am the first and only son of the alpha king. I am 17 years old,I got my wolf last year on my 16th birthday,so I've been struggling to control my wolf but it's a stubborn wolf and very annoying.  I could remember how I felt when I first changed I was very scared,I came to the woods like I always do because every night after dinner I come out to the woods to get fresh air and to escape the queen's always nagging me about how a true prince should act and live. When I heard George and I changed. My wolf is a pure white with black paws and a ash blue mark on my fore head which makes my mum scared because prophecy talked about a wolf with the mark of the Chosen on its fore head. That it's the mark of the moon goddess and the reincarnation of the first and greatest alpha king whom will come to take his place as the king and will save the world from the room to come. The prophecy also says that an evil more powerful than the king shall arise to take the power of the chosen and take over the world. My mum has always been scared and don't allow me to go anywhere without the palace warriors,so I escape to this spot every night to be alone and to get fresh air.  I suddenly feel my legs and arms again so I guess it has weared off,so I stood up and headed back to the palace. Walking through the forest where there are trees of different species one of which are oak,acacia,catclaw, Apache black tupelos. I looked up and I saw the moon is full and at it's peak so I guess its past midnight and I looked around where shrubs of all kinds,red roses,lilies,and all kinds of beautiful flowers are,then i drifted back to lady in the hoodie that attacked me earlier,"who was she and what was that she did to me?"I asked my self and I decided to find out all I can about her and try to know her. All I knew was that she must be a person from the high ranks. I couldn't tell if she was a human or otherwise,aside from her sweet scent,she smelled like a human. I could tell George knew whom she was but he isn't telling me anything. I could feel like I've known her for long and I feel I must see her again.        Kira POV  I could feel someone following me and the scent I perceive is so amazing that I could feel my heart skip beats,not only because I was running and in a hurry but I because I've gotten my mate. He had a scent of vanilla and fresh raspberry. I immediately got out of my thoughts and decided to get him off my back. I could feel his aura so strong that I almost fell on my knees,I could tell he was a royal and he I felt we have met before,like I know him so much. Then I perceived my dad's scent so he had to go because my dad hates the royal family and I knew he was going to get him killed so I made a ball of air and attacked him with it. The ball got him on the abdomen and threw him into a tree an oak tree. I saw him standing up so I decided to hit him again with it but he wouldn't stay down,then I heard him curse and we started fighting.  I threw a kick at him which he caught and elbowed me which got me side cheek,so decided to hypnotize him.I saw he looked confused as if fighting himself or something so I touched the back of his neck with me for finger,then he fell to the ground then I ran away. While running I could feel my wolf lusy craving and howling in my head wanting to be with our mate but we can't not tonight.  Tonight is a full moon in which a sacrifice for me Is being made,as the only daughter of alpha Bryan and Luna Stephanie and a rare female alpha and the daughter of the head of the witches,a sacrifice must be carried out at full moon for protection and scttrength till my 18th birthday. I once asked my mum why it must be done,she said it's because it's very rare  for a wolf and witch to get marry and also to have a female alpha and a witch with the spirit of the great witch. I am Lira Wolfsburg of the green wood pack,the second biggest pack and the second strongest after the Royal pack. My dad always says he should have been the king because he was better and stronger than the king. But my mum was always against him when ever he would start to bicker and and say words against the royals which makes me wonder how they ended up together.Well I guess when you are mated to someone it's forever no matter their ideology which makes me hope my mate is a great person and would take care of me.   I got to the pack where the ceremony had already started then I heard my nanny"young lady you are in a lot of trouble,the alpha and Luna have been looking for you all night,where have you been? The ceremony has started now hurry up and get dressed". I then looked up to the moon it's full and it must be done now. I was getting ready when the thought of my mate came to my mind, remembering his scent and how great he smelled then my mum came in,I could tell in her voice that she was mad at me I then scurried along with mum to the place the ceremony is been held where there are lots of witches. I joined grandma in the middle.  Beside me was a white feather I think its a parrot an old oak tree branch,a knife,a skull and some herbs. I stretched my index finger forward a cut was made and my blood was gushing and it splitted into the skull full of herbs then I was made to eat it,then the feather was dibbed into the part my blood was and it was sprinkled all over me. Then I heard my nana that's what I call her say she words and her eyes turned all white and she began to shake,few moments later she fainted I caught her before she heat the ground. I shouted for my dad and mum,the pack warriors came to carry her to her room,I knew something happened that she say somy that made her very scared it must be very dreadful for nana to have fainted.
