John POV

"Ok I will,what do you need me to do?" I asked my mate who was looking everywhere as if she is cautiously looking for someone she doesn't want to see her." Well for starters,act normal and don't allow anyone know we are mates and do as I say"she answered. I was still looking confused and trying to understand what was going on when my lycan George interrupted my thoughts"stupid,she is trying to keep us safe,she is even more intelligent than you are". Then we heard a clearing of throat like sound turning it was Julian,"who is he?" "He is my best friend Julian"I answered immediately my mate asked. "What ever just do what I say and meet me outside in 15minutes.

After my mate left, I explained what has happened to Julian who looked shocked and confused." If she is your mate then why is she acting weird and what was all the you're in danger thing? Does she know you are the prince?" Julian asked confused. "I don't know but she asked to keep it secret so I expect that from you" I said before moving out to meet my mate.

I met my mate in my mum's garden sitting beside a bunch of lilly flowers which are so beautiful just like my mate so I plucked one and walked up to my mate and slid the flower into her hair,which startled so I guess she had been thinking." Sorry to startle you just felt you'll need this to complete your beauty"I said,she smiled at me before she became serious again." Smooth move,casanova nice one"my lycan George said mischievously.

I could notice the redness on her cheek even though she tried to hide it,her eyes looked was looking everywhere except where I was standing which gave me the Idea she is nervous and shy at the same time." My name is John walters Coldstone and I am a prince"I said breaking the awkward silence that has lingered around us." I am Kira Wolfsburg and I am the only daughter of Alpha Bryan Wolfsburg" she replied still looking away, I then went to sit beside her. I cupped her face with my hands and moved back the strand of hair that has come to her face making her more beautiful and sexy." So what do you mean by me been in danger?" I asked her raising her head chin up with my hand,"yes someone wants to take your powers and kill you" she answered.

I laughed at what she said,"what powers?" I asked. She looked at me with shock on her face and I could feel she must feel stupid for with the way she became silent. She turned her neck away from my direction then my lycan growled"now you've made mate so stupid" "shut up let me focus". George growled and hissed after I replied him. I sat closer to her and turned her face to me again but this time I was alarmed at the sight of tears on her cheek "what happened dear,why are you crying,am I the cause?" I asked scared,"no it's just that y.. she was cut short by Julian who looked worried. "Sorry prince,the queen is looking for you and I guess your father is the alpha of the greenwood pack,so he is also looking for you" Julian said.

We got up immediately and went into the hall of the castle where everyone looked angry and the environment seems tensed. As we walked into the hall,they were all shocked because we were still holding each others hands then alpha Bryan said"Kira what happened and why are you too together,are you two mates?" With that she removed her fingers which were intertwined with mine and moved away from me. This made my lycan angry also me"tell them we are mates and we need to protect mate,we need mate" my lycan said "no she said we shouldn't"I replied in my head then my lycan hissed and told me to give him control I refused." Listen you need to trust me,if you don't we will never see mate again" George added so I let him take control.

Immediately George took control,he growled and went to mate, everyone was so amazed at the beautiful lycan wolf. Alpha Bryan, his wife and other guests couldn't hide their shock and admiration for the big tall lycan with a mark on its forehead. The queen became scared and commanded my lycan to shift back but he wouldn't bulge or leave it's mate's side." Oh stupid mate what have you done? You have brought more problems to us now" my mate cried out." I will protect,you are mine and no one will take you from me"George replied and growled even louder which made everyone whimper and now even the king because his aura was so strong their wolfs and the lycans couldn't resist.

Then my mate patted my back which made me calm and I licked her face and turned back to the guest who couldn't move. "Son shift" dad said in his alpha voice which I reluctantly did." My mum had her hands in her mouth and ran to hug me,she then turned to my mate ,held her hand and placed it on mine. Alpha Bryan became angry and told my mate they were leaving,"no! She is going no where,she will be staying with me her mate now and no one can stop that"I shouted. The king was furious and demanded I let her go but mum glared at him and said "she isn't going anywhere she is my son's mate and she will stay here where she belongs"mum replied.

Dad had no choice but to accept his mate's request but alpha Bryan was mad and glared our way but I glared back at him then held my mate and whispered in her"don't you worry you are safe here with me" but all she could do was shed tears which broke my heart. Alpha Bryan and his pack members left but before Luna Stephanie followed she came over and kissed my mate on her forehead and told me to take care of her child. She hugged my mate deeply and I could see her shedding tears also then she left. My mate broke down in tears on my shoulder,so I carried her bridal style to my room or should I say our room.

I got to my room and kicked the door open then I laid her on the bed,I closed the door and went back to lay beside her." Would you like to take your bath?" I asked but she didn't reply so I guess it's a no. I covered her with the duvie because she was now shivering. Then she went silent,I looked at her but she was asleep,I cuddled her and I slept off.

King Stephen POV

I was pacing up and down when my wife the queen came into the room,"how can these be,it can't happen. My son can't be mated to my enemies daughter,what has the moon goddess done to me" I said when she entered, "I think you need to calm down, he has already met his mate and he would do anything to protect her either you like it or not and they will always be mate" she answered. "Well he needs to reject her immediately because I can't have the seed of the enemy in my castle"I added. " Is that what you should be thinking about or what made us bow to our son when he growled,does that mean his powers are becoming stronger or it was because he found his mate?" My wife replied." Yes it's all because of her,what do you expect she is the pup of a monster" I retorted." Listen Stephen Walters Coldstone,I will not allow you to destroy my son just because of you stupid rivalry with Bryan,you had better let go of your hatred towards your in-laws. If you don't and anything happens to my son,you two will regret it am I clear!?" She shouted and left the room. I stopped pacing when I heard does words from her,it's been 22 years since she called me in that manner,she has never been against me on anything which shocks me. I guess when you are a parent you get soft." I must find a way to separate them,no child of mine will be married to those monsters"I said to my self." If I were you i will listen to our mate,you know how she is when she gets angry and I don't want us to hurt our pup" Ryker my lycan said." Shut up,have you forgotten what her monster of a family did to us?" I asked," no but she is not her dad and pup is happy with her,just let her be" Ryker growled which I ignored,I won't allow it.
