Present time, when Amy decided to visit alpha Xavier:
Amy was looking over a large pack lands far away from her first pack, it was closer to her second pack where James and Lola ruled. She was standing on a tall cliff overlooking the lands, it was an impressive piece of land. She had lived enough years in packs to know how to navigate without being caught by a patrol. She took a deep breath and considered getting back into the car and drive back home, she was not looking forward to this visit, they had no idea she was on her way so it was not too late to back out. The sun was well on its way moving away from the mountain ridge overlooking the lands, it was late morning and life was bustling beneath her. She sighed before she got back into her patrol car and slammed the door shut. She put her police hat down on the passenger seat and drove further down the road of the large cliff, down the mountain road, and finally to the flat plains underneath. As the car approached the settlement several wolves started running along with the car, Amy smirked as she thought them discovering her too late. In her pack, if she had one to rule, the patrol would discover her long before she was into the area of settlement. She made note of mentioning it to the alpha. The wolves were much larger than the regular wolf, but size alone was not the only giveaway, she knew these wolves were werewolves and not any wild species. She put her foot to the gas pedal and roared away towards the packhouse, she liked putting them on the edge, she could see the wolves in the rearview mirror trying to pick up speed, she was taunting them. As she got to the packhouse she clamped down on the brake and her hair went flying forward around her face, she grinned as she made a lot of noise, she wasn’t the one for a loud entry but this time she treated herself.
Amy picked up her hat and put it on as she got out of the car, she immediately hunched down as a wolf flew over her from behind and it went crashing into the front porch steps. Out of the front door came a large and imposing man, he had dark ruffled hair and a serious frown, his button-up shirt was pulled up to his elbows and he relaxed his hands in his suit pants pockets as he looked at the intruder with many emotions. He took a deep breath and took in her scent, his pitch-black eyes went back to their original color, his wolf was satiated and his rage was calmed in an instant. The wolf that crashed into the steps got up and limped over to the woman and growled, Amy ignored him and gave a short nod to the alpha as the other wolves caught up with her. They had her surrounded but Amy took no offense.
“Want to call off your patrol there alpha?” She yelled out to the alpha on the porch.
His large stature took the whole space of the front door, his massive shoulders met each side of the door frame. He smirked at her and scoffed before his eyes glazed over, the wolves stood down and shifted to humans, they sauntered off and got some clothes to put on. Amy was used to the protectiveness of pack werewolves, they would keep their alpha safe at all costs. The alpha did not say a word, he simply held the door open for Amy to walk in. She walked up the steps with slow steps, she was already regretting this and she looked nervous as she passed the alpha.
She waited inside for him and followed him to his office, she sat down to the chair he motioned to and the alpha sat down in his chair behind the desk.
“I have been looking for you Amy, I didn’t think you would find me first.”
Amy was surprised at this, she had no idea he was looking for her, “how so alpha? What do you need me for?”
The alpha scoffed, “call me Xavier, we know each other well enough for that.”
Amy blushed as she remembered the one night they shared, it did not seem natural to call him Xavier but he had a point. Amy waited for him to explain why he looked for her, but he didn’t indulge. So she continued with her reason to be there.
“Xavier, I thought it was best to give you a visit.”
Xavier raised an eyebrow in anticipation of what it could be, he had a hunch on what she wanted to talk about. Amy seemed flustered and took off her hat, she fidgeted with the hat while she looked at it in her lap.
Xavier thought he could help her along a bit, he was enjoying her discomfort just a little bit, “what is that for Amy, what would you need to talk to me about?”
Amy looked up at him while biting her lips, she was not aware she was giving herself away so much.
Then she gasped as he voiced out as it was the most natural thing, “could it be about the pup you are carrying?”
He had a small smile on his face, he knew very well that she was pregnant. He could smell it on her, his eyes flickered of black as his wolf was struggling to get out.
Amy stuttered out, “I should have known you could smell it, then I guess you also know the next part.”
He looked at her with a piercing gaze, his eyes burned into hers. They flickered with hope, lust, and determination.
“I do know Amy, I was hoping for this, from the day I met you I hoped I would put a pup in you.”
Amy’s face drained of all color and her jaw dropped, she did not anticipate this at all. And alpha would only want his mate pregnant, getting someone else pregnant would cause a lot of trouble for his lineage.
