Split lip

When Amy was young and living in Crescent Falls Pack:

It was the first day of high school for Amy and Lila, it was the first day of the last year for Kemper and Jonas. Everyone was excited, Jonas because the cheer leader's had broke it off with the other alpha’s son. Lila because she got to hang out with the older and very handsome werewolves in high school. Amy was excited because she got to take advanced classes, and Kemper was excited because he got to see Amy more. It was the start of what could have been a great year for them all. Amy walked down the hall away from Lila, they did not share their first period. As she walked with her books in her arms a tall and slim female bumped into her much harder than on accident and Amy went flying. She landed facedown first on the floor and her books scattered, around she could hear all the students laugh at her. The cheerleader laughed the hardest, her tone was vicious as she mocked Amy. Everyone knew that she tripped her on purpose, and it was probably because she was human. Only pack member humans attended their school, and this year Amy was the only one. 

Neither Kemper nor Lila was there to see it, so they could not intervene, but Jonas walked by and smirked at the cheerleader, “good one Clara.” 

He winked at her as he passed with a flirtatious look, and it did not escape Amy that he cheered on her bully. She always had the suspicion that Jonas didn’t like her, but now she flat out knew it. She started to get up from the floor but Clara pushed her to the ground with her foot, she was stomping on her so she couldn’t get up. As she put pressure on her leg Amy groaned in pain, the crowd around them laughed even harder at that. Jonas walked away and Amy could see from the floor that he grinned at her as he rounded the corner and left. Amy felt abandoned by Jonas, but she gritted her teeth and thought she should just wait out the bullying. 

What Clara didn’t anticipate though was that some of the other students got emboldened and started to kick Amy as she laid on the floor. When the bell rang they all scurried to their classroom, except Amy, she was laying on the floor unconscious with a split lip and three broken ribs. Her nose was bleeding but not broken, and she was developing large bruises all over her body. She was discovered fifteen minutes later by a teacher that walked through the hallways. 

The alpha and luna were called as she was taken out by an ambulance since they were listed as her emergency contacts. All the students gathered by the windows to watch the ambulance take away the unconscious girl, Jonas in particular was ashy and looked horrified as she was wheeled into the ambulance. He had not thought it would go that far, and Kemper was seething as he ran downstairs to join his parents. 

The luna was crying as she walked into the ambulance with Amy, and the alpha caught Kemper before he barged into the ambulance. “We will have to drive there ourselves Kemper, it can only take one passenger with Amy. Come with me.” 

The alpha was calm but dejected, he sounded heartbroken the way he talked to his son. Kemper was shaking with fury and couldn’t voice out any words as he followed his dad. The hallway didn’t have any camera’s and nobody dared to rat out on the cheerleader, so the school had to wait with discipline until Amy woke up. 

As Amy was being treated at the hospital the alpha called the principal and arranged it so Amy would be in every class with Kemper or Jonas, he wanted the two of them to protect her the whole year. The luna was crying into her palms as Kemper tried to comfort his mother, he was worried for both his mom and Amy. Now and then a nurse would pop out to the waiting room and update them, the whole day went and Amy was still not awake. It was late evening when they were able to go in and see her, it took the doctors a long time to make sure her ribs would heal properly, and her lip needed several stitches. She was very groggy but was waking up as the three of them were in the room, Lila had been taken home with Jonas and stayed with Lilly the whole day. Amy couldn’t talk much as her face and lip were so swollen, but she was able to answer a few things. She didn’t know who pushed her down but she recognized that she was wearing a cheer uniform and had long blond hair and that Jonas called her by her name. She didn’t remember it but she thought Jonas might remember, Kemper was seething as he found out his best friend just walked by Amy being bullied and did nothing. 

He quickly excused himself and got a ride back home, he ran up the stairs and found Jonas on the third floor doing some homework with his tutor. He stood up to face Kemper and was about to explain, he felt really bad that he didn’t stop it. He had no idea that it would get violent, but before he could say those things Kemper threw a punch to his face. He was taken by surprise and his head flew to the side as blood sprayed from his mouth. Kemper got in a few more punches before Jonas's dad rushed to drag Kemper away, Jonas was so taken aback that he just froze and stood there. He was shocked as his dad dragged away a screaming Kemper, curse words were flying out of his mouth. For the first time in his life, Jonas felt that he had royally screwed up, and behind him sat his tutor thinking that this was a long time coming.
