Episode 6

“You are lucky that I like you Gina, you are quite a fighter, it would be sad if I lost you on my team.” Lord Kane said sitting on his throne.

“So here is your punishment, you’ve been here for 3 years now and you are supposed to graduate this year to join the omega corps, which was going to give you the outside freedom as you’d be working for me, but you’ve ruined your changes of leaving college, so you will stay here and do another 3 years, I hope you wont try to escape again.” Lord Kane said.

As soon as he said this I took a quick glance at Gina who was by my side, and she glanced back at me, giving me the ‘we are okay’ look with a hidden smile quickly looking down.

This was the best news ever, 3 years without seeing my mate would be unbearable since I’m only starting college now without going to the outside world, since Gina will be starting college all over again it means I will still get to see her more often.

“Since you got all your partners killed, I will pair you with these two, I will figure out the fourth person to pair you guys with.” Lord Kane continued to say.

“Now off you go!” he said dismissing us.

We stood up heading to the door, and David opened for us.

“Follow me, I will show you to your rooms.” David said leading the way, we had no choice than to follow him behind.

We went out the back door, leaving the creepy old house. This other side was amazing, I could see students wearing black blazers with a red wolf embroidery, with white shirts also having red wolf embroidery, boys had black pants and girls had black skirts with short white socks, for a second you’d think this is a normal school.

We walked to the main building which had a Morden glass and steel with a massive wolf statue entrance.

David was giving us a tour of our new school.

Classrooms had spacious floor to ceiling windows, there was also a library in this school, almost like a normal school.

We continued to the dorms, the building of the dorms were separated from the building of the school. The dorms had cosy brick building with balconies overlooking the forest.

We entered into another building, this building was small compared to others. Inside was like a mini hospital.

“Dr Thane, here are the new members of our school.” David said greeting the doctor.

“Welcome, this way please.” Dr Thane said showing us the door to his office. We went in and sat down on the chairs inside the office.

“Boy come sit on the bed.” He said and I went, he cleaned the injury on my shoulder and then poured some powder to the injury, I could see it already being healed, I guess there was no longer a trace of silver’s bane inside, even the pain was leaving my body.

He took something like an injection, this was a huge one and injected it on my upper arm.

“What is this?” I asked confused cause it didn’t look like medication.

“Don’t worry about it, it’s just for your protection.” Dr Thane replied.

“Protect me from what?” I asked more confused.

He took out a hot metal that had a tiny picture of a wolf with horns tattooing it behind my right ear.

“This is to recognise each other. You can go now.” He said ignoring my question.

“Young lady, you are next.” He said gesturing for Ashly to come forward.

Ashly hesitated for a moment before going to the bed. He took out another injection and injected Ashly as well before putting a tattoo on her too.

I sat down next to Gina again and looked behind her ear and I could see she already had the tattoo.

We went back to the dorm and we were shown our rooms, Ashly and Gina will be sharing a room. And they took me to the boys dorm and there was already another boy in my room.

“Okay this will be your room, and this here will be your partner.” David said closing the door.

“Hey I’m Ethan.” Ethan said introducing himself.

“Hi, I’m Austin.” I said shaking his hand.

“How long have you been to this place?” I asked Ethan.

“I’ve been here since morning.” Ethan said sitting down.

“And how long have you been here? You don’t look good, what happened to you?” He asked.

“It’s a long story man, I was in the holding cells.” I said dismissing the topic.

“Okay then.” Ethan said sighing.

“Let me go take a shower then we will go meet the rest of our teammates, we are meeting in a cafeteria in an hour.” I said looking for a bathroom.

I found it and went inside. As I was taking a shower I wondered how my parents must be feeling not knowing where we are right now.

I wondered how I was going to escape this place in one piece.
