Episode 7

In the cafeteria, students were sitting in groups, eating and chatting at the same time. You could tell that they have made friends and accepted that they are here to stay.

Ashly waved at us at a far end table.

“There is my sister let’s go.” I said to Ethan as I walked to Ashly and Gina’s table.

“This is Ethan, the fourth member of our team.” I said sitting down.

“Hey Ethan I’m Ashly and this is Gina.” Ashly said with a bright smile pointing at Gina next to her.

“Hey Ethan, welcome to our team.” Gina said with a smile.

“Hey guys, pleased to meet you.” Ethan said sitting down next to me, you could tell that Ethan was a nice guy.

The girls already ordered food and drinks for all of us.

“I hope we didn’t keep you waiting for too long.” I asked the girls.

“No we just got here.” Gina said glancing at me, I couldn’t help but glance back at her, God she was so beautiful, too beautiful at that.

I looked at those sweet pink lips of hers and I wanted to taste them, I would do anything I can to have a taste of those lips again.

It felt like she also had the same idea I was having, I signalled her with my head, to follow me to the restroom, without anyone realising what was happening, I quickly stood up and headed to restrooms, after a minute of waiting Gina came into my view, I snatched her inside and locked the door.

“Oh I missed you so much.” I said giving Gina a warm hug, I missed her touch.

“I miss you too Austin but you know we can’t meet like this, what if we get caught?” she said breaking off from the hug.

“Ssshhhhhhh.” I said putting my finger on her lips.

“Don’t worry about anything, no one saw us.” I said as I kissed her, she couldn’t resist the bond that we had, she held me tightly and kissed me back with passion. It felt like I was in a little haven.

“Oh Austin I love you so much.” She said under her breath cupping my face with her hands.

“I love you too baby.” I said taking in her curvy figure with my hands.

We continued kissing and I felt like marking her right then and there.

I started to kiss her on the neck and she was mourning softly. My wolf was too excited, he took over my body and my canines grew longer and I was ready to mark her.

Gina opened her eyes in shock, she dodged me right in time.

“Austin what are you doing?” She asked shock written all over her face.

“I’m sorry my love, I wasn’t thinking.” I said in shame, I couldn’t even look her in the eyes.

“It’s okay, just wait till we get out of this place okay.” She said giving me a kiss on my chick and I nodded before she left.

I was now alone and was thinking of the dangers I almost put my mate, it’s good that she is able to control herself like this, because I can’t wait to mark her and make her mine. I guess being on the same team also helps because no one would ask why we spending so much time together.

I headed back to the cafeteria and sat back down at our table, I took a quick glance at Gina and it looked like she was ignoring me, she was engaging in a conversation with Ashly and Ethan.

I didn’t want to stare too much so I started digging into the food, since I was too hungry to care about anything else.

“Gina please tell us more about this place.” Ashly said taking Gina by surprise.

“Well what can I say, we will still continue with our subjects like a normal school, but they tend to make us too good than students from other schools.” Gina said looking Ashly in the eye.

“That’s cool I guess.” Ethan said.

“Well we also have a martial arts and combat training.” She continued.

“Also cool.” Ashly said excitedly. But Gina didn’t seem excited with the news she was giving us. She leaned in, we also leaned in closer to her to hear what she’s going to say next.

“There are rumours that goes around saying that after the training, we will be assassins and mercenaries for hire working undercover.” She said with her voice lower.

“What? I don’t want to do that for a living.” Ashly replied her eyes open wide with shock.

“Not so cool huh.” Gina said rolling her eyes.

“Not cool at all, and to think we don’t have a say with our own lives.” Ethan said.

“I think when we leave this place we will have more power, we have to fight this, this cannot be going on under our watch.” I said determined to end all this madness for good.

They all looked at me with envy as if what I was saying was making sense, right there I knew I had a team I can depend on.

Before I was only thinking of myself, my sister and my mate, I just wanted to escape this place and go back home, but now I had a new purpose, I want to free everyone from Kane. I want to destroy all of his operations.

“Listen up.” We all looked to the door, where the voice was coming from only to see David and Casper.

“All of you need to make your way to the Arena.” Casper said shouting for everyone to hear.

We all stood up heading to the arena.

“Guys whatever activity we are given today, we must stick together as a team, just make sure you stay alive.” Gina said throwing her hand around.

“What do you mean stay alive?” Ashly asked the same question Ethan and I wanted to ask, you could tell by the shock written in all of our faces.

“Games they play here are dangerous and could even take your life if you are not careful enough.” Gina said not showing any emotions at all.

“Welcome to our night games, I hope you are all looking forward to having fun tonight.” Lord Kane said with excitement.

“We have a new team today, Austin’s team, please make your way to the stage.” He said and we made our way to the stage

“Please give them a warm welcome.” He continued.

Everyone clapped their hands and cheered us.

“Today you are the first team I’m choosing for the night game.” Lord Kane took us by surprise, I couldn’t stop wondering what kind of a game we are going to play, that’s going to put our lives in danger.
