The Book
In the middle of the vast desert, under the scorching heat of the sun.
There is a young man around the age of 17 wandering the sea of sand searching for something...
His every step was a struggle against the oppressive heat, which left him feeling weak.
By his side, a small creature clung to the hem of his rag cloth robe, seeking shelter from the harsh rays of the sun. The young man's robe and hood, made from the same rag cloth, offered little protection from the heat, but it was all they had.
As they continued to move forward,
the two of them felt weak and exhausted from the extreme heat, having wandered the desert for a long time.
"Master, I'm so tired,"
the small creature clung to the young man's rag cloth robe, its voice filled with exhaustion. Its tiny body trembled in the heat as it gasped for air.
The young man let out a sigh, feeling the same exhaustion weighing heavily on his own body. "I know, buddy," he replied.
The memory of the day everything changed flashed through his mind, a day that began with the simple act of picking up an old, dusty book. He never expected that it would lead him to this extraordinary world, filled with danger and adventure.
================
My name is Aizen Grandell, just a regular student with a love for reading books. Heroes defeating demon lords, the weakest becoming the strongest, hidden powers... these are the thrilling stories that captivate me. But my life was about to take an unexpected turn during a visit to a random bookstore.
As I entered the old, shabby-looking bookstore, the owner... a surprisingly spry old man, greeted me with a bright smile.
"Hello, sir! Welcome to my humble bookstore,"
he said, his voice filled with hospitality.
I was taken aback by the old man's friendly demeanor, and I couldn't help but smile in return.
"Hi, sir," I replied. "Do you have any fantasy novels for sale?"
The old man's smile widened at my question, and he gestured towards a section of the store filled with books of all shapes and sizes.
"Of course, my dear sir! We have a wide selection of fantasy novels, from the classics to the latest bestsellers. Feel free to browse to your heart's content."
I was surprised because I thought that the bookstore only sell history books, due to its shabby appearance.
I apologized to the old man for his assumption, to which the old man seemed surprised.
"What? Why are you apologizing?"
the old man asked, looking confused.
"Just go and search for your book."
Aizen nodded, feeling slightly embarrassed,
I thanked the old man and made my way to the fantasy section, my eyes scanning the shelves for a book that caught my eye. As I browsed, I couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder at the sheer number of books that surrounded me.
As I perused the selection of fantasy novels, my eyes were drawn to an old and dusty book tucked away in the corner of the store. It was unlike any of the other books in the store... its cover worn and faded with age.
I picked up the book, feeling a sense of curiosity and intrigue. As I examined it more closely... I couldn't help but notice that it was not as clean as the other books in the store. In fact, it looked as though it had been untouched.
I turned to the old man, who was watching me with a knowing smile. "Excuse me, sir," I said, holding up the old and dusty book.
"This book looks like it hasn't been touched in years. Do you know anything about it?"
The old man's smile widened, and he nodded. "Ah, that book," he said, his voice filled with a sense of mystery. "It's a special book, one that only reveals its secrets to those who are brave enough to seek them out."
Hearing that word Aizen suddenly blew the dust from the old book, and as the particles cleared, the title of the book was finally revealed -
"The Tower of God."
I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation at the thought of delving into the pages of this mysterious and intriguing book.
As I opened the book, my heart filled with anticipation and excitement. However, to my surprise, the pages were completely blank. I couldn't believe it - had I been tricked?
"Hey, grandpa," I said, showing the blank pages to the old man.
"I think this book is fake."
The old man's face fell in shock and disbelief.
"What? That can't be,"
he said, his voice filled with confusion. "I've never sold a fake book in my life."
I explained to him that the book was completely blank, and the old man's expression turned to one of deep concern.
"That man with the golden hair and shiny robe," he muttered to himself. "I should have known something was wrong."
He explained to me that the man had sold him the book, claiming that it was a good story, but with the condition that it should not be opened until a customer had purchased it. The old man had trusted the man and had kept the book hidden away until I had come along.
"I'm sorry, my dear sir," the old man said, his voice filled with regret. "I never meant to deceive you. I will make it right, I promise."
"Well, this is not your fault, grandpa,
" Aizen replied, feeling grateful for the old man's kindness.
"Well, you are a good boy...,"
the old man trailed off, his voice filled with warmth and affection.
"As an apology, you can take one book from the this store for free... and than book",the old man glance at old book.
"You can take that," he continued, his smile widening. "I think that book still has a use..."
Aizen thanked the old man for his kindness and left the store, feeling grateful for the unexpected gift. As he walked down the street, he couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder at the mysterious book.
Suddenly, the book began emitting a bright golden light, blinding Aizen and making him unable to see.
When he opened his eyes again, he found himself in a strange and unfamiliar place - a forest, filled with unknown creatures and mysterious wonders.
Aizen looked around, feeling a sense of awe and wonder at the world that lay before him. The book that he had been holding was now gone, and he couldn't help but wonder if it had something to do with his sudden transport to this strange new place.
