You're My Responsibility

" Ann, I love you and I can't control this feeling from the first day we met everything changed within me. I barely sleep and something inside me wants me to keep you having you as mine . I've fallen in love with you Ann and I know this sounds so crazy and ashamed right? " Priston said while running his hand on his hair.

I looked at him and wondered why such a high rank , handsome, business , Cruel , arrogant and commanding man where every lady in this city is crying to be with him falls in love with his own mere secretary?

'Oh maybe this is what these so-called rich people do when they tend to say they love you and get what they want then dump you calling you names like w***e and slut' I whispered.

"What did you say" Priston asked as he moved closer to me and I took a step back only to get hit by a wall. He placed his one hand on the wall and the next hand brushed away my hair from my eyes so that he can gate the full glimpse of my face.

" Whatever you're thinking and made you say that I won't do it. I'm telling you the truth. And I ain't such a kind of person to do that".

I knew that my body would betray me again and I wouldn't want him to notice it so I bent down and opened the door heading to my office not looking back. I slammed my head at the door trying to forget and maybe turn the clock behind not letting that happen again.

I touched my lips and what came into my mind was the intense kiss we shared at the office. 'Why did I let him kiss me and how come I responded to his kisses' I asked myself trying to calm down as I could temperature rising. The door was knocked and I opened only to be met by his tempting eyes that drives me crazy when he looks at me.

" Are you going to let your boss stand here?" He asked just to see Ann's reaction. He knew she felt something for him just by how her body reacted to his touch.

"Um -mmm... Ye.. no sir" I responded.

"I need you to work on these files before going home today. Besides I know it's closing hours already but I couldn't give them to Frank since he has something to deal with. So I need you to accomplish them." He ordered calmly.

"But can't I work on them tomo..."

"These files will be needed tomorrow by the client at the meeting so work on them before you go home today". And he stood up to go but did not move and looked at her.

"Are you not going to open the door for me?" He asked.

"What!" I exclaimed and after realizing it I stood up and went to open the door.

As I passed through him he took my arm and held my waist closing our distance between us.

"Huh!" .came my response after that sudden move.

"Ann don't try to avoid me okay because what I said earlier I mean it and I won't let you have another man other than me" he requested before pecking my forehead and letting me go as he left me wondering.

Inside Priston's office

"Frank come to my office I need the details right away" he instructed over the intercom. Within a second frank was inside the office with an envelope.

" Sir we got the CCTV footage of the room. We had to place a hidden camera in one of the ladies who were going to serve them tonight and this is what we got" he answered before handing over the envelope to him.

He inserted the flash and played to hear what they were saying.

"We are going to sabotage the next meeting of his. The client has to be kidn*pped and paid a lot of money to make him decline their offer, making us get both the investor I tended to invest in them. Afterwards we will destroy their designs which will be on the way to the destination on the following day this will cause their trading rate to decrease " he heard his uncle's voice speak.

" I'll leave everything to you and make sure that I get to be the next successor of both his and his father's company. " The next partner instructed.

" Sir, too bad we couldn't clearly view the face of the one backing up your uncle but we are still on it. I sent one of our bodyguards to follow him up that night and this is what he said" Frank gave him his phone and read the message.

He slammed the table and came with a loud bang. He was so furious that made him eliminate a strange aura from which Frank was afraid and took a step back.

"I knew he was the one all along. That bastard" he said tightening the grip in the phone.

" Sir you'll destroy my phone " came Frank's pity voice.

" Oh sorry ". He said as he handed over his phone . " Check on Ann if she's done with work it's already late".

Just as Frank was opening the door came a knock on the door and I entered.

" Sir I brought all the documents and they're all prepared for tomorrow's meeting" I said as I placed them on his desk.

" Cancel tomorrow's meeting and let Mr peter know that I'll call him on when to hold the meeting"

" Okay sir"

" Ann, I'll take you home and no objection to that ". Priston said trying to read any information from her face and just as he thought came her response.

" I'll be fine sir. I'll just get the cub and head home"

" Ann I insist " Priston said as he gestured to Frank to get the car ready for them to leave. He looked at his watch and said " it's already eight o'clock so I won't let you get a cab. We are leaving right away".

Inside the elevator, everyone was silent. Priston held my left hand tightly making me get chills in my body. As the elevator stopped at the parking lot he let go of my hand and we both entered the car. He closed the curtain of the small window that separated us between the front seats and the back seats. I knew the window was sound proof.

But why did he close the curtains? What is he planning to do?

" Don't worry I won't do anything stupid I just want to talk to you " Priston said after noticing how worried I was.

"Then why did you close the curtains? " I asked.

" Due to this"he responded as he made me sit in his lap and held me tightly. I tried to move but I couldn't .

"Don't move your straddling my monster and you'll take the responsibility to tame him down" Priston said looking at me with lust written all over his face making me still my movements.

He then took his hands and placed them on my laps drawing circles on them. "You're my responsibility and I'll take care of you from now henceforth. I'll make you mine Ann. And I can tell from how you're feeling right now. I know you've fallen for me but you can't say it right. That day we met you felt it too right?" He asked and I couldn't respond to the fact that I know this won't be good at all I need to avoid him no matter what.

I tried to make myself get up from his lap but I slipped and ended up landing my head on his shoulder and with that I think I messed everything up.

"Ah," I had him groan. " I told you not to move Ann . All I wanted is you sit on me. What are you going to do?" He asked.

He held my back telling me to stay at the same position till we arrived at my apartment. I could feel something bulging and I wanted to tell him that I ain't comfortable.

"Ann I know just be still. Don't make any sudden moves or you'll piss him off just like you did earlier" came his husky voice.
