When I entered the large room holding Daryl's hand, I believed that I would receive a lot of unnecessary attention but I was instantly relieved to find that the only ones who cared about my presence were Klaus and Althaia, Alexis and the old woman who was seated next to two empty seats I assumed were left for me and Daryl. Sebas was preparing the appetizers that he was passing around the table from the trolleys. The wine glasses were already filled with red liquid including mine that I eyed closely as I sat down in my chair between Daryl and the older woman who was still watching me with a creepy smile.
