The Abused Lycan and Her Mates

Chapter 4

Gabriel POV

After the phone call from Michael, my beast will not stop pacing. Even Cam seems to be on edge too. “Cam” I link him. “Something is wrong with my lycan Gabe. He is worked up and worried but wont tell me why” he links back. “Cam it will be ok. We will be there in 10 hours.” I tell him and he nods his head. I reach my hand out for him to take it and squeeze our hands together. “Let’s try and get some sleep” I tell him before closing the link. After a few minutes, I hear Cam’s breath even out and know that he is sleeping. I close my eyes and try to get some sleep too.

We are woken up when the drive announces that we are about an hour away. I wake up Cameron and tell him we are about there. We stop at to refuel the cars and then we are on the way again. As we pull up to the gates, we see a group of warriors at the gate. Some are shifted waiting to escort us to the pack house. They all bow as we pass them before they take off down the road.

We pull up in front of the pack house to see both Alpha Joshua and Beta Lucas standing on the steps. Then out walks Beta Michael. We all get out of the SUVs and they all bow as Cameron and I approach them. I catch a faint scent of lavender and warm vanilla. My beast is going crazy and when I look over, I see Camron close his eyes as he inhales deeply. When he opens his eyes, he looks right at me. I nod my head and then look to Alpha Joshua.

“My Prince, thank you for making the trip to see us.” He says in greeting. “Thank you for having us. We will be staying for a while if you don’t mind before we head to the Northern Royal Coven.” I tell him. “Of course, take all the time you need” I move to shake the beta’s hand and then look at Michael. He bows his head and then I catch the scent on him. My beast comes forward and grabs him by the throat.

“You touched what is ours” my beat says. His eyes widen and he tries to submit but my beast tightens his hold on Michael. I feel a hand touch my arm and I relax my grip on Michael. My beast is still in control but Camron comes in front of me. “You have to let him go my prince. There has to be a reason why he has out mate’s scent on him” I close my eyes and take a couple of breaths before I released Michael.

He coughs a few times before he straightens up to look at us. “My prince, I can lead you to your mate. I helped her and just woke up from sleeping. I have yet to change or shower since I brought her here.” Michael says as he bows his head. I nod my head and wait for him to lead me to her. Both the Alpha and beta follow behind us as Michael leads us the hospital wing of the pack house.

When we arrive at the door, I can smell my mate. I look to Cameron and see the excitement in his eyes. We open the door and walk into the room. There on the bed lays the most beautiful women every. She has dark brown hair that almost looks black but she is very thin. I watch as Camron moves closer to her side and then I hear a whimper from him before he turns to look at me. I see tears in his eyes as I approach him.

I pull him into my chest as he wraps his arms around my waist. “She has so many scars and I can barely sense her lycan” he says as he cries. I hear a throat being cleared and turn to see Alpha Josh standing in the doorway. “We will leave you with you mate. You can have someone call of me when you are ready. I will make sure everyone else gets settled into a room. Call if you need anything.” He says before he closes the door.

I look back at our mate and see what Cam was talking about. I can see the scars on her arms and a few pocking out from under the hospital gown she was wearing. “Gabe, how can someone be so cruel to her?” Cam asks. “ I don’t know Cam” I tell him as I rub my hand up and down his back to help calm him. I feel the spark as his hand touches my skin of my lower back. He pulls back and looks at me with a huge smile.

“Mate” we both say at the same time and then look to the girl laying in the bed. “We needed to find her. She will make us whole” I tell Cam and he nuzzles into my neck before kissing it. He pulls away from me and walks over to our mate’s side and grabs her hand. I watch as Cam gently kisses the back of her hand and lays his down on the bed. I smile looking at my two mates together.

I walk over to Cam and place my hand on top of his head and hear him sigh. “Cam, I am going to call mom and dad to let them know we arrived.” I tell him and looks up to me. “You going to tell them that we found our mate?” he asked me. I smiled and bent down to kiss his cheek. “Yeah. I am going to tell them I found my mates” His face lights up with a huge smile and nods his head before laying it back on the bed.

Before I can walk out of the room an older gentle man walks into the room and looks at us. He bows his head and then smiles at Cam next to our mate. “My prince, I am happy to see that she has a mate” he tells me and I chuckle. He looks confused and I smile. “She has two mates doc.” I tell him and his eyes go wide before he smiles again. “Congratulations my prince.” He tells me and moves into the room. “I am hear to check on her and then I can give you a fill report of hear health when I finish.” He tells me and I look over to Cam. “You can tell Cam everything. I need to make a phone call and I will be right back” I tell the doctor before walking out of the room.

Once in the hallway, I dig out my phone and call mom. She has always been the one I talk to first but I have always been close to her and dad is probably training some of the elite warriors right now anyway. It rings two times before she answers. “Gabe, how was the trip?” she asks right away. She must be busy with something. “Sorry if I interrupted you but it was good. I have some good news to share” I tell her. I can hear she ask everyone to leave her office before she speaks again. “Well do share Gabe” she says in a happy tone. “Mom, I found my mates” I tell her and I hear her excitement as her calls for dad. “I am going to put you on speaker for your father to hear.” She tells me. “Son, what is this I hear about you finding your mate” he asks me. I chuckle. “Mates, as I have two mates” I tell him with a chuckle. “Well, who are they” he asks.

I smile thinking about then in the room right now. “Well, remember how I told you that I can sense a pull to Cam and my beast claimed his as his” I waited for them to speak and when they didn’t I continued. “Well, he is my mate. We both had a feeling that we needed someone else that would cause the bond to take full affect and we were right. The girl that Michael rescued is our other mate.” There is pause before the speak again. “Son, I am happy for you. How is the girl doing? Last we heard she was in rough shape” my father asks. “The doctor is looking at her now. She has been through so much dad. The scars that I see tells me that this has been going on for a while” I tell him trying not to break down.

“Gabe” I hear my mother call out to me. “Sweetheart. Be gentle to her. She may be very timid when she wakes up and may not know that you are her mates until her lycan is stronger” my mother says in a soothing voice. “I will treat her like the queen she is mom. I learned from the best” I tell them and hear a chuckle from my dad. “That you have son. We will set everything set up here for when the three of you return.” Dad says. A nurse taps me shoulder and I look to her. “You can go back now” she tells me and I nod my head. “I need to get back to my mates. I will call you later” I tell them before we hang up.
