Meet our pups

Tyler’s POV

“Ok we are going to bring her out of her coma. Don’t be shocked if she screams and is scared at first” the doctor tells me as he pushes a liquid into Isabels iv. “It could take up to an hour for her to fully wake up” he says as he exits the room. I hold Isabels hand and watch her. It had been over a month since the rouge attack. We had to bury our one son and it hurt more knowing that Isabel couldn’t be there. I had decided to name him Jaycob after my grandfather. Jaycob Loren Greene was his full name. It was one that Izzy loved when I had brought it up as possible boy names. The one she loved the most for a boy was Zackery James. Our little girl I named Harmony Grace. She was funny and the nurses always say she was the favorite out of all the pups there. Both of them were born around a pound. Harmony was 1 pound 1ounce and barley 12 inches long. Zack was 1 pound 5 ounces and was 12 and half inches long. They were both gaining weight quickly. Harmony was now up to almost 3 pounds and Zack was almost pushing 4.

I see Isabels eyes flicker for a moment. “Hey beautiful “ I say softly and she lets off a small whimper. “I’m here baby it’s Tyler” I say as I hold her hand and she lets out another whimper. It broke my heart as she started to come too and let out a small scream while looking around. She looked panicked and went to touch her no longer giant stomach.

Isabels POV

As I came too I wanted to scream. My eyes couldn’t adjust to see who was holding my hand and I whimpered thinking the worst. I tried to pull my hand but my body wasn’t responding to me yet. I finally let out a small scream as I hear Tyler’s voice and I calm down. My mind then races to our pups I got to touch my growing stomach to see that it was flat. “My pups” I mumble out and feel Tyler squeeze my hand. “I have you” he says softly. It takes me another twenty minutes before I’m fully awake and I look over at him. “Please let me our pups are ok” I say softly biting my lip. I could tell from his eyes that something happened. “Izzy I’m sorry but we lost one “ Tyler says and I feel hot tears fall down my face. “Which one” I ask as my vision become blurry due to my tears. “One of the boys. We buried him last week” Tyler says softly and I stare at him in disbelief. “How long have I been out” I ask wiping my tears. “A month “ he says and I just stare into the distance. I wasn’t really look at anything just staring trying to wrap by head around the fact that I had been in a coma for a month. “The doctor had you in the coma to help you heal. I named our little boy Jaycob Loren” he says and I feel the tears coming back. “He was the runt at almost a pound and only ten inches long” Tyler says holding my hand. I pull him down to have him hug me. I feel a slight pain in my stomach and side as I do this but I don’t care. All I wanted was to be held by my mate.

“Do you want to see the other two?” Tyler asks and I nod. He calls for the doctor who checks me over and give me the ok to go to the nursery. Tyler wheels me down to the NICU. He wheels me into the room and I see Lilly sitting there talking to a really cute nurse. “Luna” she says jumping up and giving me a hug. “I was so worried about you. I haven’t left your pups sides” she says and I smile. “Thank you” I say as she smiles “this is Connor my mate “ she says pointing to the handsome nurse. I nod to him before standing up to look in the incubator. I see a small tag on the one and it read Harmony Grace. I look in and see my tiny little girl sleeping. She was so tiny and I wondered if I would be able to hold her or at least touch her. The incubator next to her was lifted up and I could see the little boy. His tag read Zackary James. I took a step and almost fell. Lilly caught my arm and held me while Tyler wrapped his arm around me to help me walk. I walk over and gently touch his little hand. He grabs my finger and I start to cry. They are perfect and I love them both so much. “You want to hold them” Tyler asks me and I nod. Lilly pulls a rocking chair over to be in the middle of the two incubators. Tyler gently picks up Zack and hands him to me first. Zack lets out a small squeak and I chuckle. “Mommas got you Zacky” I say rubbing his small back. Tyler then placed Harmony on me and I melt. I kiss both their heads and feel so happy. Tyler gives me a hug. “We made some beautiful pups” he said as he kissed their heads too.

-3 months later-

“Doctor are sure sure we have to put them in their seats before we can leave” Tyler half argues with the doctor. I just chuckle as they go around about how it will be safer for them even though the pack house is not even a ten minute walk. Harmony was kicking her feet making sure little noises in her seat while I buckled in Zack. Zackary was now weighing 6 pound 10 ounces while Harmony weight in around 5 pounds 15 ounces. They had both grown so much since the first time I had held them. “Tyler stop arguing with the doctor and lift this seat into the stroll” I barked at him and he sighed. “Yes hun” he said lifting Zack in first followed by Harmony. “Thank you for everything doc” I say giving him a small hug before pushing the stroller out of the room.

My babies were finally coming home and I was so excited to bring them home. Lilly met us outside the doors as I pushed them outside. “Alpha and Luna”she greeted with a head bow. I smiled and kept walking. I could hear them talking business behind me and I just ignored it. It was something about treaties and maybe having an alpha summit to discuss everything that had happened. “Oh and Luna we have a pack get together later on to show off the babies. They will only be there for twenty minutes and no one will be allowed to touch or come near them without your approval “Lilly said and I nod. I was aware of the party and figured I wouldn’t be staying long.

As time approached for the party to start both of the babies started to get fussy. “Ty I don’t think it would be good to take them to the party” I say gently bouncing Harmony. She just kept crying and soon Zack was doing the same. I was feeling extra stressed about it all.

Tyler’s POV

“I’ll have one of the pup sitters come help. I have to attend but don’t feel like you do” I say to Isabel as I leave. As Alpha I knew I would be drawn away from my mate and pups all the time. I walk down the stairs and outside. I’m greeted by many Pack members congratulating me on the north of my pups. “Thank you” I say as I shake some hands. I spot Lilly and walk towards her. The nurse Connor keeps hanging around her. “Hello Beta” I say giving her a smile. She turns and gives me a hug. I heard her mate growl very softly. “Lil you might want to go back to him “ I say softly and she chuckled. “He’s protective” she said going to hang off him. “Sorry Alpha” he says bowing and I nod my head.

As the party continues I keep looking off to see if my mate will show up. Izzy how is it going? I ask rather cautiously not wanting to upset her. I’m coming soon. Just got Zack dressed. Would you mind coming to grab one of them. Isabel linked me and back and I got up. “Lil hold everything down. I’m gonna go get the babies with Izzy” I whisper to Lilly as I walk up the stairs to head inside. I wake into the room and see Isabel is a beautiful sun dress. It was form fitting and flowed all the way to the ground. “You look beautiful “ I say giving her a kiss. She had Zack wrapped in a green blanket and Harmony was in a light purple. I grab Harmony and give Izzy a kiss. “You smell wonderful “ I whisper as I playfully grab her butt. She jumped a little and giggles. “Trust me if we didn’t have a yard full of people I would let you” she teases back.

We walk outside and I feel the tension from the pack. Something was wrong. Lilly what is wrong I link her as I cover Zack with my hand. So that his face is near my chest and my hand is behind his head.

Get the pups back inside she links me and she must have linked Isabel too. Isabel stayed right by my side as we went to turn I heard a female call out. “So this is where you disappeared too” the female called out and Izzy turned around to face the person.

Isabels POV

Lilly linked me and said that something was wrong and to stay next to alpha. I could smell something was going on and I caught the scent of something off yet strangely familiar. “So this is where you disappeared too” I heard a female call out and I froze. I knew that voice that voice belonged to. “Hannah “ I say blinking my eyes thinking they were playing tricks on me. “Hey Izzy, I see you found a mate. An alpha none the less” she said as a couple warriors went to hit her for talking. “Leave her alone” I growl and they back off. Lilly come to my other side and I hand Harmony to her. “I know her” I say softly to both of them as I walk over. “So are you a wolf too?” I ask keeping my distance just in case she wasn’t a friend anymore.

“Nope” she chimes with a smile. “I’m a witch” she says with a chuckle and Tyler pulls be back. He had handed Zack to Conner to hold. “Witches are tricky creatures and shouldn’t be trusted” he whispered to me and I nod. “But she had been my best friend forever” I say to him and hear her chuckle. “I knew something was special about you Iz” she said with almost a cackle. “I also know that your father paid off my mother to find you” she said and I could feel my heart rip in half. “So you never cared” I say trying to stay strong but feeling used. “No I always cared for you Isabel but once I learned you were the wolf I was supposed to kill I got confused “ she said before appearing between Tyler and I. “Now I have a chance to do what my mother failed to do. What your nanny failed to do” she said as she pulls a knife and stabs it into my side. I instantly feel weak and fall to the ground.

Opening my eyes I still feel weak. Lilly is by my side and there is a guard outside the room. Where was Tyler I wondered hoping she didn’t get him to. “Luna” Lilly says as soon as she see me awake. “You have a bad habit of getting hurt” she says as she pushes the hair out of my face. “Tyler had to leave on business” she says and something seemed off. She was laughing and turned into Hannah. Then everything went black again.

Tyler’s POV

Watched as Isabel let out screams in her sleep. The blade that Hannah hit her with was silver but also had wolfsbane on it. The nurse maids had the pups in the other room because I wanted them close. I touched her hand and the heart monitor flatlined. My eyes widen as the doctor and nurses rush in and start trying to bring her back. “Alpha you need to leave” one nurse said pulling me from the room. “No I can’t leave her” I screamed as they pulled me away. “Isabel” I screamed not knowing what was going to happen to her.

Lilly she flatlined I think we lost her I linked to Isabel before running out of the hospital. I took off towards the direction that witch managed to escape. I was going to kill her for killing my mate.

Lilly’s POV

Lilly she flatlined I think we lost her made me drop to my knees. My Luna was gone and I let out a sad howl. Alpha I’m coming to gather the pups I linked to Tyler with no answer. That was weird he always responded unless he was in a rage. If that was the case there was no talking to him. I walk into the hospital and ask the nurse if I could talk to the doctor.

“Beta, I was looking for the alpha. Luna Isabel is stable again” the doctor says and my heart skips a beat.

Tyler Isabel is alive come back to her. She needs you. The wolfsbane is taking a toll on her and she needs her mate I link to him hoping he is listening but something told me he wasn’t.

Harris, assembly some warriors and follow alphas scent. I think he is going after the witch. I link to the head of our warriors. I walk into Isabels and she is trashing around a little. “Isabel it’s Lilly I’m here with you “ I say touching her hand and she seems to calm down for a minute. “They had to intubate her. She flatlined for almost ten minutes. Doc was about to call it before they tried one last time and she came back. We are trying to clean her blood to get the poison out of her system. It’s hard because the silver blade is making it so she isn’t healing properly” Connor says as he puts a hand over me. “Only the goddess came help her now” he said with a small sigh and I start crying into his chest.
