Meeting the Alpha

Isabels POV

The last thing I had felt was pain but now I just felt comfort. I slowly come to and hear the sound of a heart machine beeping next to me. The light hurt my eyes but the smell was amazing. It was weird I had never really thought about smells before but this one was intoxicating. It was the smell right after it rained mixed with a hit of honey. It was rather strong to as I slowly opened my eyes. I notice a man standing by the window looking out. He was so handsome. His sandy blond hair, his muscular build and as he turned those eyes. His eyes were a beautiful shade of blue. My heart started beating faster and the machines beeping gave it away. “Thank the goddess your awake” he said softly as he walked towards me. My mind was so fuzzy that I could respond to him. All I heard was Mate from Aurora.

“How are you feeling”he asked me as he gently touched my hand. It sent these weird vibrations up my arm and down my body. It wasn’t a bad feeling it was an amazing feeling. It felt so comfortable and warming and it made my pain stop some. “Better” I say softly and he smiles. “What is your name” he asks gently. I blush at the fact that I was falling for a man that knew nothing about me and I knew nothing about him.

“I’m Isabel Campbell” I say softly “can I have some water” I ask gently. He nodded and calls for someone who brings in a glass of water. “Well it’s very nice to meet you. I’m Alpha Tyler Greene of the Crystal Sun pack” he said kissing my hand. As his lips touch my hand I feel nothing but pleasure fill my body. How could one touch cause so much pleasure. He smiled and gave a small sigh. “I have some bad news Isabel “ he said softly “please call me Izzy” I say quickly already figuring what he is going to say. “Izzy that is beautiful” I hear him say before sighing again. “Sadly your mother didn’t make it” he says and I feel my heart hurt. My mom was the only family I had and I couldn’t believe she was really gone. I start to sob and Tyler pulls me into a hug. Normally I would have fought a strange guy on touching me but his hug seemed right. It made me melt into him and I didn’t want him to ever let go. He held me for a few more minutes before the doctor came in and walked over to me. “Well ms Isabel how are you feeling? You gave us a good scare when you came in” the doctor said and I stared at him for a minute. “I’m feeling a better having Tyler.. I mean Alpha Tyler here with me. Where am I exactly?”I ask looking from the doctor to Tyler then back again.

“Your in the pack hospital inside Crystal Sun territory” the doctor tells me and then looks at Tyler. “Alpha can I have a word” he says and Tyler nods. From all of my readings on wolves I knew that this young guy was the leader of the pack. I had always read that Alphas were the meanest of the wolves and would attack any outsiders who dared enter their territory but Tyler seemed different. He wasn’t mean he was the opposite of that. He seemed nice and very gentle.

“Well Isabel you are well enough and healing enough to head back with Alpha Tyler “ the doctor said and I stared at him in disbelief. “How am I healed enough? Did I almost get my arm ripped off?” I ask and the look of shock must have been very prominent on my face because Tyler chuckled a little. “Werewolves heal quickly and when they have their mate near they heal even faster.” He said as the doctor called a nurse in to get me ready to leave. She pulled out the iv and I flinched a little. I hated needles and knowing one just got pulled out of my arm made me squirm. You know Tyler is your mate Isabel Aurora said and I jumped a little. Mate? As in mate mate like I’m going to be bonded to him for life. I ask her and she lets off a howl. “Am I your my mate” I ask Tyler and he smiles “yes Izzy I’m your mate”

“Is that why I feel so comfortable around you and want you near me” I ask and he nods.

-a week later-

Getting to know Tyler over the past week has been great. He is really amazing and he lets me stay near him most of the time. When he has meeting I leave and normally lay down but today I decided to go for a walk. His Beta Lilly was in the meeting with him. I decided to maybe try to go into my wolf form. I hadn’t even tried that in the week I had been here. I also wasn’t a part of the pack yet but I was planning on maybe changing that tonight.

I think about it and before I know it Aurora has changed us into our wolf. I stand there and smile. I decide to walk down a path to take everything in. I recognized the scent to come back to the pack house but I wanted to walk some. I taken in all the sights , seeing as I hadn’t been allowed outside most of my life. It felt nice to have the sun on my fur and to see the grass in my paws. I almost wished I didn’t have to change back into a human. I liked being in wolf form it relaxes me. After walking for about an hour I turn around and start walking back. I heard something rustle behind me and I stopped to see what it was. Thankfully it was just a deer and I decided to leave it be. I gave a small growl and it took off. Turning back toward the path I decided to run. I could feel this feeling forever. I didn’t sense anyone around me. I was took wrapped up in all the scenery. Suddenly I am knocked off my paws and I hit a tree. I let out a small whimper and look at the wolf. He was bigger then me and stronger too. I hadn’t trained ever so I wasn’t weak but I also couldn’t fight to save my life . Standing up as quickly as I could I race towards the pack house. This wolf stayed right on me growling at me and I was scared. Maybe my wolf form isn’t the best for me to be in. As I saw the pack house I saw Tyler coming towards us. He changed into his wolf and jumped the wolf behind me. Lilly came and stood next to me in her human form. “Well Harris you shouldn’t try to attack your future Luna. Tyler isn’t going to forgive you if you laid a paw on her” Beta Lilly said and I stepped off to the side to change back. “Oh that is weird” I say as Lilly caught me. “Different being on two legs again isn’t it” she said with a chuckle and I just nodded.

“Sorry Luna” A man with black hair said that I assumed was Harris.

I didn’t say anything but nodded and Lilly smiled. Tyler came over and nuzzle the top of my head making me blush a little. He took my hand and walked me back inside. “Izzy you have to be careful sweetie. Harris is a patrol and he thought you were a rouge because I haven’t introduced you to the pack yet” he said gently as he walked me up to my room.

“Alpha I wanted to talk to you about that” I said as we walk into the room. I could feel my heart starting to speed up some. I knew that joining his pack would probably lead to becoming a Luna too. I was very nervous about it all seeing as just last week I didn’t even know werewolves existed.

Tyler looked at me and smiled. “Are you sure your ready to become a Luna?” He asked moving a bit closer to me. I smile and nod as he touches me. I always loved how the sparks felt.

Tyler’s POV

I heard growling outside the window. I looked out and see Isabel’s wolf running with Harris chasing her. “s**t” I mumble as I throw my chair back and race out of the office.

Ty what’s wrong!? I hear Lilly link me.

Harris is after Isabel I mind link back as I shift just outside the door.

Harris leave her alone I growl as I jump into him. That’s my mate leave her alone she isn’t a rouge

Sorry alpha Harris says before shifting back. “Sorry Luna” he says before bowing to her. She just simply nods which is a great move on her part. She probably didn’t know what to say. I smile at how close her and Lilly have become. It was hard to believe it had only been a week since I met her and she had already changed my world. I walked over and grabbed her hand pulling her into me. The sweet smell off her hair was giving me a slight rise and I hoped that she would ask about joining the pack and becoming my Luna soon.

“Izzy you have to be careful sweetie. Harris is a patrol and he thought you were a rouge because I haven’t introduced you to the pack yet” I say gently as I walk her towards her room. I wasn’t mad at her or even Harris for doing his job.

“Alpha I wanted to talk to you about that” she said softly and I could feel the excitement rising especially from Talon. “Are you sure your ready to become a Luna?” I say with a smile and she nods. I grab her hand and pull her close to me. The sparks where crazy and it made it that much harder to not take her right here right now.
