***FLASHBACK**" The beautiful girl stared patiently at the door waiting for her new friend, if she played her cards right he might be able to get her out of here. The door clicked and someone pushed it open, it was the blue boy from the days before. " Alby " she jumped. " I was doubting whether you are coming or not " " Shush " he whispered " I'm not supposed to be here, remember " " I'm sorry " she lowered her head. " It's okay, I got you something, their Manreauvian dust worm" He said. The girl cringed watching the smiling boy. " They're good, I promise " she opened her mouth as he fed her, her eyes widened, almost popping out of her sockets. She groaned in delight. " Are you sure you won't get in trouble? You know helping me " she asked. " Were friends, I wouldn't let those stuck up adults ruin that " he smiled. The girl couldn't help but look at her new friend with admiration, he was so confident, if only she felt the same about him, she knew their friendships wouldn't last, but she hoped it would, she had grown attached to the little boy. " Alby, why do you help me " " Because your my frien... " " That's not a valid reason " she interrupted. " nor is it logical " she stated coldly. He was about to say something but the door opened revealing a rather angry purple man. " Dad?! " Albion said. " Albion? " The man said looking surprised and confused. " What are you doing here? Where's your nanny? " he asked while Albion smiled sheepishly, on the other hand, the girl stared, no, glared at the purple man, she absolutely hated and feared him. After sending Albion away he looked at the girl intently. " Were gonna do some test, and monitor how how your body responds, okay " he said. the girl nodded her head. She was given a tablet, in which were advanced games she would play, if she got it wrong a jolt of electricity would be distributed to her brain. Mind you, she always got it wrong, it seemed that was the point, no matter how many times she tried. She sobbed quietly in the corner, not daring to touch the ' demon phone ' again. Another jolt was distributed until she had to use it once more. As she laid in her cage, temporarily paralysed, drifting of into her dreams, to a world she can hardly remember, before the aliens, she was left alone in her cage, no one cared whether she was dead or alive, she was just a lab rat, anyone could replace her. A tear slid down her cheek, she lived a pitiful life full of cages and people controlling her, she was just a puppet, once a loved daughter into a pitiful slave, her hands clenched, her overgrown nails digging into her skin. She laid the until darkness took over. ****** I continued to walk through the forest, looking at the map in my hand, the sun was setting and it was about to be dark soon. " Okay, let's set up camp " I said. Cassandra nodded her head in agreement. After at least thirty minutes, tents were made and we had huddled around a fire. We had our dinner and Cassandra left to go to sleep. I had first watch, I patrolled around the area making sure no one or nothing was around. I sat back down on the log but would stand back up in ten minutes or so. I desperately wanted to sleep, but that was a luxury for me, I felt a hand on my shoulder and I jumped back in surprised, I looked back to find Cassandra" Sweetheart, what are you doing? go back to sleep " " I'm taking second watch " she said. " No, it's okay, I can handle this " I said, I didn't want to put her in danger, I couldn't. " Ingrid, I'm thirteen, I can take care of myself, you don't have to do everything, please" she cried, I chuckled at her. " Okay fine but wake me up if something happens, even the rustling of trees or a twig snapping " I said " Be safe, here's my g*n and dagger keep them close" she nodded, I walked towards the tent and slept, it was rather comfortable, minutes after, I was fast asleep. Cassandra stood up, straight near the tent, walking around like a soldier. She took this job way too seriously, she had to. If she succeeds, Ingrid will let her do more things and not see her as the little orphan girl she had to bother herself with even though she knew that's not what she thought, she still wanted to prove a point. There was rustling in the bush, she inspected it closer and closer and closer, a cute little rabbit hopped out. She heaved a sigh, her heating was beating faster than normal, that had really scared her, she turned around to find a blue six ft two man who towered over her, she opened her mouth to let out a piercing scream but another man from behind covered her mouth with his hand and picked her up. She tried wiggling out of his grasp but it proved futile, the man had an iron grip. She discreetly tried reaching for her sisters weapons which she then remembered were on the the log they were sitting on. She tried screaming but we're muffled by the man's hand. They boarded their ship and left. It was morning and the sun was shining on my face. I slowly opened my eyes. That was the longest sleep I had ever gotten. I slowly craeled out the tent, I looked around, admiring the scenery, then I noticed something wrong, Cassandra was missing. " Cassandra! Cass! Cassandra! " I looked around, panicking, looking behind tree after tree but found nothing, I sat on the log, sobbing, I lost her, how could I lose her, even that sentence feels wrong. I quickly gathered everything and started running back the direction I came from until I reached the cabin. ' Please be here, please ' I prayed. I knocked on the door over and over again until someone opened " Ingrid? " he asked, he looked tired, he must have just woken up, although he looks cute. He was wearing nothing but boxers, God he looked hot, vwith his perfect and, muscular arms and ... no, focus Ingrid " I.. I need your help ! " I started crying and he pulled me into a hug, guiding me inside " I lost her "
