Garrison was at a local bar called the Circle P, he was feeling so alive!  He never thought that he would ever be able to feel this way again.  Taking Pauline's life had unlocked a hunger that knew no bounds!  He thirsted for more but he knew that he needed to cage it for the time being.  He was so deep in his thoughts that he wasn't aware someone talking to him.
