Zephyr sat in the backseat of the moving vehicle. He had accepted the ride from Raphael since the man kept insisting. In the rear-view mirror, he caught Raphael’s gaze. The man stared at him time after time as if desperate to ask him something. The air was tight. Zephyr's fingers moved restlessly at his sides. His stomach knotted, a strong intuition clawed at his gut. Raphael was after something. But Zephyr couldn’t figure it out. “I overheard your statement through the CCTV. What you did on the highway was really brave,” Raphael's voice cut through the silence.
