Inside the investigation room, Zephyr sat on the chair. His mind raced with questions. Why had they brought him here? What did he do wrong? The thought weighed heavily on his chest at each passing second. But the weight of the lady’s stare was even more suffocating. She sat on the chair across from him, offloading a book and file onto the table.
