The weight pressed on Zephyr’s chest lifted, his eyebrows locked in a frown, eyes fixed on Michael who was standing in front of him. “You called me here and I suppose that is because you are in a tight spot and you’re looking for advice on how to save your friends,” Michael’s hands crossed behind him as he took slow steps forward, moving past Zephyr. “Your friend Jason is lost, trapped in a deep well somewhere in these woods, and the woman you love is left alone with a man you assume would hurt her.” Zephyr turned around to Michael who stopped by one of the trees behind him, feeling the leaves with his fingers.
