“Five minutes to go,” said Jess.
Ali and Clay just nodded. Jess hadn’t needed to tell them, but he’d felt the need to say something. The pressure was building and his inability to do anything was driving him crazy. He’d already checked the detonator over a dozen times, until Ali had finally told him to leave the bloody thing alone.
“Getting into and out of normal space is going to be the hard part,” said Ali.
“If we mess up will we even know?” asked Clay.
