“So how do we do this?” asked Ali.
Jess smiled at her. The two of them were sitting in the living area with Clay. Jess had called them together to discuss their tactics. Apparently Ali wasn’t going to waste any time.
“We need to focus on what we’re actually trying to achieve,” replied Clay, his face unusually serious. “We need to find that fleet and confirm it’s the right one, preferably without being spotted or at least without being recognised. That means if we can rule out a fleet from a distance there’s no reason to get close.”
