The room once again was filled with all of us, as Megan and I returned. It was nice having the whole family around, even if it was under such grim circumstances. Though, as soon as Megan and I returned and sat down beside my grandfather, he couldn’t conceal the smile on his lips and the teasing glint in his eyes. Yeah, he enjoyed this very much.
"So, now that you're here, Megan, maybe you can tell me what you and my grandson were doing during his time off?" he inquired.
Megan smiled a bit nervously at my grandfather, but he just found that amusing.
