CHAPTER FOURTEENJENNA March 29, 2010 I hear Thomas crying from his crib. I roll over and the clock on the nightstand reads 6:30 a.m. I just got back to bed at five after the last time he woke up. Next to the alarm clock, I see the framed photo of me with Mallory at the waterpark when we were about ten years old. I squeeze my eyes shut as they fill with tears. I miss her so much. My emotions have been heightened the last few months with all the hormones and lack of sleep that comes with having a new baby. My mother has been so helpful and even wakes up for those early morning feedings. I think she has bonded with Thomas more than I have, which leaves me happy but also a little jealous.
