The glowing red numbers on the alarm clock read 12:15 a.m. The information Agent Sommers and Captain Nattawly shared with me is replaying in my mind. The photos of the village from where Mallory escaped were vivid, but all still seems so unreal. The thought of my daughter living in those filthy conditions makes me sick to my stomach. After Mallory was treated at the base camp, they moved her to a bigger Army base. They said she was aware of everything happening and was very cooperative and very informative. She told them about how she escaped and for how long she thought she had been gone. A shiver runs through me just thinking about how scared she must have been.
