Chapter 11

After the chase, Heather had flipped her s**t. When she had ran back to the Cullen's in her wolf form, with the others behind her. Stefan went to walk over to her but Jasper had stepped in front of him.

"Dude, I wouldn't do that. She's pissed right now." He has told his friend.

"I know she is. I can clearly see it." Stefan told him.

Stefan wanted to do whatever to calm his friend down. He was to distracted her didn't know that Carlisle and the others were next to him watching the young wolf girl go crazy.

"She saved my life, why is she still mad?" Emmett asked out loud.

"Its not you son," the dr has said. "Its the point that we didn't get Victoria."

As the dr had said that Heather's ear perked up straight then looked at the other's. As she leaned down slowly shifting and whining, from the pain, she was human again. The boys looked away from her other than Stefan. He walked over to her, putting a hand on her face and smiled a little.

"Are you okay?" He asked her.

"On which part?" She asked.

Stefan just looked at her knowing she would tell him all about it. The pain, the chase, everything. She took a deep breath before speaking again.

"I'm fine. It don't hurt as much. I'm starting to get use to it." She has said. Stefan took off his jacket and put it around her body. "I didn't feel it back there. I think it was because my adrenaline was kicking in already. But the point of all that is, we lost the redhead. We almost had her,"

"Yeah, we almost had her if Paul didn't attack me." Emmett had said.

It has pissed Heather a little more.

"He only attacked you because you were on our land. What was you thinking, Emmett. If you left it alone, we could've had her but no. You had to be a big head buffoon just like Paul himself, to prove what you are." She had told him.

"So its okay for you to crossover whenever you can?"

That got her going. She had vamped over to him, pushing him against a tree.

"I'm part of their tribe. Your as bad as Paul. Its like I can't anymore." She said as she let him go. "I thought being both half wolf and half vampire would help bring y'all together but it don't." The girl said thank walked away.

Stefan looked at Emmett then the others. Rosalie look beyond pissed off but not at Heather for what she did to her boyfriend but mad at her boyfriend for saying what he had said to the girl. Esme had her hand on her heart like she was gonna cry tearless tears but couldn't since she was dead. Carlisle walked over to her and held her in his arms while looking off where Heather had went. Stefan didn't need to know what he was thinking, he had grabbed his jacket that was on the floor and got into his car.

He had drove home to LA Push to see if the girl was home. When he didn't find her, he had vamped over to Jacob's place to see if the wolves were home yet. There was no answer and he didn't hear any heartbeats forgetting that Ira said that he had plans with Billy and Charlie. Then he remembered where Heather had said where Emily had lived back in the woods a little off the shore. He had vamped down to the shore by the woods. He heard a few heartbeats and hoping one of them was Heather's.

When he walked onto the porch, he had saw the two girls, one was sitting at the table and the other was cooking. When he had stepped onto the doorframe, it had made a noise, making the two girls turn their heads at him. Emily smiled at him as for Heather, she turned and faced Emily again.

"Glad I found you, when I didn't find you at home or at Billy's I didn't know where you could have gone to." Stefan had said.

"Well, I had to get away. And Emily is the only place I knew I can go and be calm." She told him.

"Your always welcome anytime without the boys or Leah." Emily said.

As she had said that, speaking of the devils themselves, was walking in. Paul walked over right to Heather and stood in front of her.

"What the hell Heather! You could have been hurt doing what you did. Pulling something like that what was you thinking?" Paul had scolded her.

"Paul, lighten up on her." Stefan had said.

"Listen here, bloodstucker don't tell me what to do." Paul growled back.

Heather stood up and pushed Paul against the wall with her vampire speed. No one seeing where that came from til the last moment.

"Don't call him that!" Heather hissed.

Sam walked over to them and pushed them apart. Being the alpha he had to do what he had to do, so there wouldn't be a blood bath in his own home.

"Enough! Paul you had no call for and Stefan is right. Heather is going threw a lot right now. This isn't any easier for her or any of us. Heather did what she did to protect her friends." Sam said to Paul then looked at Heather. "Heather, Paul is your imprint. Don't need to be all harsh with him. You guys love each other."

Heather laughed a little. "Yeah, okay. What an imprint he is. A hot headed asshole that doesn't like who I hang out with or who I am. So if he wants to be the guy I first got with them he him but if not, I have nothing to do with him. Just have to work with him." She said then stood up from her spot. "Emily, I'll see you around." She said then walked to the door. "Oh and since we're not together anymore, I'll see whom ever I want until you start acting like the one I had fell in love with."

As she had said that, we had walked out of the house and shifted, whining as she shifted. The boys looked at Paul then to Stefan. Paul was really pissed, he was shaking. But Sam put his hand on his shoulder before looking at Stefan.

"Is she okay?" Sam had asked Stefan.

"No," Stefan said at first. "She's in a lot of pain. Like I've told her father and the Cullen's our feelings are heighten for a vampire, what we felt when we were once human are a lot worse now. But the first 6 months to a year it is hell for us. She'll be fine, once she gets use to her vampire side. It took me awhile when I first turned." Stefan told them.

"Good, because we are here family and we don't like this side of her." Seth has said.

"Nor do I. Just like I said just be patient with her." Stefan said as he looked at Paul.

Later on that night, after Heather getting her bag from the Cullen's without them even knowing she wasn't even there, she came home and went to take a hot shower. As she was coming out of the shower, she had just a towel around her body and went into her room. Stefan was laying on her bed with his arms behind his head staring her way.

"Your starting to act like Damon now." She tells him as she went to her dresser.

"Naw, he would have snuck into the shower with you and I ain't like that." Stefan said.

Heather had laughed a little at that, as she was picturing that happening to her. But stopped as she took her towel off of her, showing her naked body. As she slide on her underwear and shorts, she looked right at Stefan before she had grabbed her tank top.

As she slide her shirt on, she walked over to her bed and laid next to Stefan and looked at him.

"So are you gonna tell me off like everyone else has been doing?"

"No, because I know what your doing through. I've been there." He told her.

"Well thank you." She said as she leaned over and kissed him on the cheek.

As she had done that, Stefan felt different when she done that. He felt good about it, like he actually like it. He turned his head to the side and met her soft lips. Heather froze for a moment then said the hell of it and started making out with him. As things were getting heated, she climbed up on top of him, going full on all make out session.

While they were making out, Stefan took off her clothes quicker than coonhound chasing a rabbit and Heather done the same as well.

Stefan vamped Heather on the bed and him on top of her, turning the tables around. As they both were naked in their birthday suits, Stefan looked at Heather in her eyes and saw nothing but lust. Before he could stop himself/chicken out, he stuck himself into her and began a fast steady pace. As she was enjoying herself, she had flipped them over once again and started riding him a little bit faster than they were going until they were both about to hit their climate.

About 20 minutes later after they finally c****x, they both laid side by side trying to catch their breaths.

"Wow, that was great. I think I needed that." She had said laughing a little.

"Glad to have helped." Stefan said as he sat up. "Ima got hunt, so I'll see you later."

She nodded and put her clothes back on. As she got done, her phone had rung. When she saw it was Bella she had smiled.

"BELLA!" Heather kinda yelled in the phone. "Please tell me your having a nice time there?"

"Yeah, I'm glad I came. Even though its been only a day, my mother and I have had a lot of fun. How about you?" She had asked the young girl.

"Okay, I guess. The boys are ugh well mostly a certain boy is driving me crazy. He ticked me off when he had almost attacked Emmett."

"Wait what?" Bella asked her. "What did you just say?"

Heather slapped herself on the forehead. She wasn't even supposed to know about this but Heather thought to herself she might as well.

"The pack and the Cullen's were chasing after the redhead. And well Paul and Emmett had a misunderstanding where I had to get in the middle of it. But they are fine."

"Is that why Edward brought me here? Please tell me the truth."

"Bella, he brought you out there to visit your mom before you graduate. But it some part of it."

"I can't believe him."

"Bella, don't. We all thought it would been have best. So please don't take it out all on him. Just spend time with your mom before its to late." Heather told her best friend. "I'll see you tomorrow and we'll talk more about what went on. Ima go make me some food."

"Fine, goodnight Heather. Tell Stefan hi for me too."

"Sure will."

The morning of school came and Heather was glad it was here. When her and Stefan had showed up at the school, she saw Bella and Edward parked in the front close to the end of the line. She ran over to them and opened the door for Bella. When Bella got out of the car, Heather had gave her a huge hug. They laughed when they let go.

"God I missed you." Heather told her.

"I missed you too. Wish you could have been there with me since someone couldn't really come out of the house." Bella had said as she looked at Edward.

Edward smiled a little at her and turned his head to look towards the school. Where he had saw a certain person on a motorcycle. It was none other than Jacob Black.

"Bella can you stay here by the car for a moment." He has said.

"Why?" She had asked, making Heather and Stefan look over towards the school as well.

"Why is Jacob here?" Stefan asked.

"No, clue." Heather said as they all walked over that way.

As they got to him, Jacob looked amazed for a moment to see his best friend was there and alive.

"Hey Jake." Bella said.

"Charlie said you were gone for a few days?"

"Yea, I went to go see my mom. Why?"

"He's seeing if your still human." Edward said.

"Stay out of my head, bloodstucker." Jacob had said.

"Hey, no need for that." Heather has said as she stood in front of Jacob.

"Well I'm here to let you know if your kind come back on our land again it won't be nice." Jacob has said.

"Jacob it was just a misunderstanding." Bella had said.

"Wait you knew?" Edward had said.

"You didn't tell her, is that why you took her out of forks. The redhead is who she wants after all."

"Jacob!" Heather had yelled at him.

Everyone was starting to stare more than they were. Heather felt weirded out with everyone looking at them.

"How did you know?" Edward asked.

"Heather told me last night. Why would you even lie to me and you why haven't called me lately."

"I haven't had anything to say." Jake told her as he walked over to his bike.

"Well I have tons so hold on." Bella said but Edward grabbed her arm. "Don't, you lied to me. My own best friend had to tell me."

"I had to." He had said then spoke again. "I just don't want you to be around him right now."

"Well tuff. He's my friend. Just trust me please."

"Bella, I do trust you, its him I don't trust." Edward has said.

Bella shrugged her shoulders then walked over to Jacob where his bike was. As Jacob handed Bella a helmet, they both got in the bike and took off. Edward looked over at Heather. Heather just smirked at him for a second.

"I'll go and watch over her for you. To tell you sorry for telling her." Heather had said as she handed Stefan her stuff. "You stay here and get all my work for me please."

They nodded at her.

"Take my car." Stefan said as he threw Heather his keys.

She nodded and went to Stefan's car and drove to La Push. She drove home close to Jacob's but didn't see them so she drove toward Emily's and they was just pulling up

"Hey guys." Heather had said.

"Hey, why ain't you at school?" Bella asked.

"Came to "watch" over you for your boyfriend. He doesn't trust Jacob here."

"But he trusts you, how awesome." Jacob said as the boys came running out.

"Yes, because I'm just lkke him as well. Well kinda." Heather had said.

"Quil, you too?" Bella asked when she saw him.

"Yep, finally made the pack." Quil says.

"When was this?" Heather asked.

"Umm, about a week or two ago. You was acting weird." Paul had said making her glare at him.

"I’m glad you’re here Bella. Maybe we can get a break from Jake’s obsessive inner monologue." Embry said.

"Jacob hasn't been that bad." Heather said.

"Yes he has, your just not around." Embry says.

"I wish Bella would call." Paul says.

"I wish Bella wouldn’t call." Jared says.

"Maybe I should call Bella." Embry says.

"Maybe I should call Bella and hang up." Quil says.

They all start laughing, even Heather a little.

"All right, you can shut up now. Bella, this is Leah Clearwater. Harry’s daughter." Jacob says.

"Hey. I’m really sorry about your father." Bella said.

"If you’re here to torture Jacob some more, feel free to leave." Leah says then walks away into the woods to shift.

"Fun, isn’t she." Jacob said.

"Hey, she's alright. Least to me she is, she loves me." Heather said.

As they all hung out around the house playing around joking about different s**t. It was like the old times with Heather. Forgetting about all her troubles or at least. After awhile Jacob and Bella had took off to walk on the beach without Heather knowing. Or so they thought. But Heather let them be. Bella was gonna be fine with Jacob.

"So Heather, when Paul said you were acting weird what did he mean?" Quil asked.

"Yea that, well I can Umm, do this." Heather has said as she vamped over towards the couch. "I'm still getting use to it." She says as she vamped back over to where they were."

"What the," Quil said. "I thought you were a wolf like us?"

"Oh I am born and we raised. Just well a while back something happened to me that I kinda don't like to talk about but for you I will. And enemy from my past from where I lived with my mother came here and attacked me. And before I know it I became a hybrid. Half wolf half vampire. Stefan has been helping me with my vampire side. That's why you see him a lot he lives with me." Heather explained to him.

"Didn't that stop yours and Paul's imprint?" Quil asked.

"No," Paul said.

"I say yes, because we ain't together right now."

"But its not all about y'all being together. It can be like friends, brother and sister." Quil said.

"I know. It's still there, its just were taking a break."

"Can you stop asking about us, please." Paul growled.

Heather smiled a little then looked away. Listening for Bella and Jacob. But it was quiet, too quiet.

"What's wrong?" Quil asked.

"Listening. That's another perk of this vampire stuff. You think its great when your a wolf its great but this is so much better. And I can change my face too. Expressly when I'm starving for blood." Heather said as she did her vampire face to show them.

Quil and Jared jumped a little from that making Embry and Sam laugh. Paul just rolled his eyes.

"Heather, don't give the boys a heart attack." Someone has said making everyone look towards the door. Of course it was Stefan.

"Just showing them Stefan."

"I know. Here's your work, where's Bella and Jacob?" He has asked.

"The hell should I know." She had said.

"You told Edward,"

"I only said that, so she would go without him bitching."

Everyone started laughing at what she had said. Stefan shrugged his shoulders and sat next to her and they done their homework. Well he helped her. He already done his.

After awhile they left to go home. As they got home, Ira had dinner made and Heather had smashed what he had made. After dinner she went upstairs to take a shower and get ready for bed.

She was about halfway asleep when Stefan had came into the room and got in bed with her and laid next to her. She rolled over and laid her head in his chest.

"Surprise you joined me." She had asked.

"Well I only did because this is my last night here for awhile. I have to head home for awhile. Something had happened and Damon needs my help." Stefan had said.

"What happened?" She had asked.

"Its the originals again. No big deal, you stay here and deal with what's going on here. I'll catch you up with what I know."

"Better, Elena is still my friend. I still care for her and if Klaus is still after her I wanna know."

"Go to sleep." Stefan told her and she done what he said.

The next day, when Heather woke, she was alone in her room. But there was a text on her phone from Stefan telling her that he was already gone. She felt bad that he had left during what's going on here but it kinda wasn't his problem. He had his own s**t to deal with. And she was gonna miss him, dearly.

The next few days after that, the pack and the Cullen's been working with each other to keep Bella safe. While at school Heather was very close to Bella when the Cullen's wasn't there when it was sunny. She was glad to be a vampire that could come out in the sun, well if it wasn't for Bonnie making her a daylight necklace to stay on her even when she shifted.

As the weekend had came, the elders was throwing a little bonfire party to all the wolves. Heather was helping out with Sue with the food. Leah was somewhat helping by only tasting the food making her mother and best friend laugh at her.

"Don't let your brothers see you doing this." Sue has told her daughter.

"They will be okay." Leah said licking her fingers.

As they were finishing up with all the food and snacks, back in mystic falls, when Stefan had said the originals were back and making chaos all over again. But this was mostly the sister Rebecca doing all the chaos. On top of all that there was a founding member finding all those were magic beings. On top of that there was a witch helping that man, which was a preacher helping the witch bring down the vail. Killing 12 humans, 12 werewolves, and 12 vampires and with Elena's blood to bring it down.

While they were trying to stop it, Rebecca was trying to kill Elena to stop it. Stefan was vamping around town to find all the killings while Elena was with Matt. Stefan had told Matt to get Elena out of town for her safety. As they were driving on the same bridge that had killed Elena and Jeremy's parents, Elena felt off the moment they crossed onto bridge.

"Matt, we shouldn't be driving on Wickery Bridge. I feel like something is gonna happen." Elena has said.

While they didn't know Rebecca had compelled Damon to look for Elena and kill her, since she couldn't get close to the poor girl. But also what Rebecca didn't know that Damon had gave Elena some of his blood a few hours before hand as he was about to kill her, freaking the poor girl out but his brother had got there and snapped his brothers neck.

"We'll be fine." Matt told her as they were almost off the bridge until Damon had showed up making Matt drive off the same bridge that killed her parents.

As they crashed into the water, something in Damon had fought his way out. Making his snap out of the compulsion that the original vampire done on him. Damon had saw what he had done and dove into the water to save Elena. Just as he done, Stefan showed up and saw everything making him jump into the water as well. Damon was trying to open her door but couldn't do tried to open Matt's door as he did, Elena pointed at Matt to get him out. As Damon done what she had asked, he got the human up on land and done CPR on him. When Stefan had got to Elena she was already taking her last breath. Making her dead. But he didn't know or forgetting Damon feed her his blood. As they got Elena back home on the couch, Stefan had called Heather.

As for Heather she was putting the food into bowls and handing them to Leah to put on the table outside when her phone was ringing. When she saw it was Stefan, she had smiled.

"Hey Stefan, wish you were here for the bonfire to know our history." She had said to him as Leah came back into the kitchen.

"Heather, Elena is dead." Stefan had told her.

When Heather heard those words, 'Elena is dead.' She has dropped the bowl in her hand making Leah grab it before it has hit the ground.

"What? Please tell me this is a joke, Stefan. Elena can't be dead. I just talk to her a few days ago." Heather was saying while tear were started to form.

Leah and Sue looked at the poor girl with sad eyes. They felt bad for her, knowing that she has been through a lot.

"Please tell me this is a joke."

"No, I'm sorry. Rebecca compelled Damon to kill her so the massacres would stop because they need her blood."

"No, no this can't be happening. I'm coming down."

"No, stay there and enjoy the bonfire, learn about your history. I'll take care of this all." Just as Stefan has said that, Elena had took a deep breath making Stefan turn around. "Elena!?"

"What's going on?"

"She's alive."

"What!? How you just said she was dead."

"Because brother I gave her my blood." Heather had heard Damon say. "I knew Rebecca would try tondo something so I had a backup plan."

"Wait did he just say, he just turned Elena?" Heather had asked.

"Yes, he did. Heather I promise you everything will be okay. Just worry about the redhead and let me take care of Elena. She is in middle of transition." Stefan told her.

"Stefan please help her like you helped me. Please." Heather pleaded with him.

"Sure will, Heather."

As Heather hung up the phone, she looked at Leah and Sue. With confused all over their face just like her own.

As she explained to them what just happened, she had done her best to enjoy the bonfire. As she was walking out, Jacob and Bella was walking toward the fire as she sat down next to her dad. Since her father is now and elder, he had to be there. Just like Sue, Billy, and Quil. Sue and Ira token over for Harry when he had died. As Seth was talking to Jacob and Bella, she had looked over at Paul with sad eyes. He got up and walked over towards her and hugged her. She smiled a little, kissing him on the cheek. As she leaned against him, Billy called the others to order and started telling them their history of the cold ones. How they discovered them a very long time ago with his grandfather Ephraim Black.

Just as he was telling everything, she saw Bella leaning against Jacob falling somewhat asleep and she felt the same. She had her mind on a lot of things. She couldn't even enjoy her time their. And Paul had saw that as well. As he wrapped his arm around her waist to give her comfort, she leaned into feeling safe in his arms even with all the has said and done to him. She felt normal for once. Like everything was gone but her and him. Like what she had done with Stefan didn't even happen either. It was all getting back to somewhat normal. Like it should have been.
