Amryl

2 months had passed and the doctor finally cleared me to return to normal activity. Omir was excited about this as it meant we could have our intimate time again. She was amazing. She never thought about anyone else when someone was in danger. She was a real life superhero. I was happy to call her my wife.

Once she got him to the hospital, she ordered tests for him. On the test she discovered his heart has been stressed for some time. I was heart broken for him. She said she needed to speak with him before giving me anymore information.

I watched her speak to him. He was deeply sad. All I could think was he was getting depressed again. I don't know if I could watch my brother go through that again. I loved him dearly. I couldn't watch my brother kill himself slowly. I wanted him to find a woman who'd love him like Amryl loves me.

I watched Amari's face when I asked him about his heart. I take it, he's known for some time his heart was weak. He just looked lost in his thoughts.

Before we left for the party, my cousin called me. She wanted to come visit. She's always had eyes for Amari. When she heard he got married she stopped asking me about him. She happily agreed. She arrived and came to meet him.

Me: Amari this is Yalena. I asked her to work with you for the therapy you will need. She's a physical therapist. I think you two will get along well.

I saw the way Amari looked at her. I saw her reposition herself. She liked him and I looked forward to hearing about their sessions. I left them to get acquainted.
