Chapter 4
I had barely dismissed everyone when I could feel a gold glitter raining down into my mind. This was my mate, Raziel, mind linking me. “Just the god I needed to speak to.” I purred through the link. “Oh I have upgraded from god-like to an actual god now? This just keeps getting better.” He smirked.
I laughed at his response but ignored it. “Alpha Drake was leery… But I suggested we start slow with the merge, and take a smaller part of town where my old house used to be. We could start there and branch out 6 houses on each side. He already had volunteers wanting to merge and live within the newly merged boundaries. Please tell me that you had a decent turnout of agreement?” I asked.
“The results were mixed. Most of the coven leaders thought it would be a good idea, a few were reluctant. We can work on them. Now that I know of the plan to start small, I definitely have a few willing to merge. Let me meet with them and discuss it further. So there are 6 houses on the borderline that can be occupied?” He asked.
“Yes, it will end up being 12 total, but 6 from each side was my plan.” I replied. “Ok, I’m going to round up volunteers. I love you.” He said.
“Thank you so much. The sooner we start this merge, the sooner we can hopefully be completely merged. I know it's going to take some time, but the sooner the better. I love you too.” I said.
I closed the link, letting the gold rush seep from my mind slowly. I hated whenever I couldn’t feel his presence. My body and soul craved him, craved his touch. I materialized back to my actual home before mind linking Alpha Drake.
“Raziel said most of his people are on board. He can have 6 to start with the merge asap. When did you want to start moving people?”I asked. “We can start anytime, I believe those houses are empty right now, right? On both sides?” He asked.
“Yes they are, I checked them already. So we can have them start moving anytime then. I say we mix them every other home. Wolf, Reaver, Wolf, Reaver.” I said. “Good idea. I’ll let them pick the houses they each want, but make sure they know it has to be every other.” Alpha Drake said. “Sounds good, I will tell Raziel.” I replied then closed the link.
I mind linked my mate, and updated him on the situation. He said he would get the people together and have them start moving asap. I couldn’t conceal the excitement bubbling in my stomach. We were doing this, we were really doing this... It might start small, but it’s even starting and that was the most important part.
I materialized home, reveling in my small success. It may be a small start, but it was a step in the right direction. I could feel the weight of the day leave my shoulders as I stripped my clothing off and let the hot shower water run down my back.
The stress of being the High Priestess of the underworld, and the Luna of the Obsidian Pack always weighed heavily upon my shoulders. I doubted that it ever truly would get easier, but hopefully, just less stressful.
I got out of the shower just in time for Raziel to materialize by my side. His eyes hovered my naked body momentarily before he regained his composure. “I have made the arrangements for 6 families to move to the merged lands as soon as possible. Some are moving as we speak.” He said.
I could feel the passion burning in his chest as he tried to ignore it. His emotions were so fiery, so intense, that I knew he would struggle to keep them at bay. Nero was growling in his mind. I could hear him begging Raziel to take me where I stood.
I let my eyes wander to the double crescent moon and stars adorning his neck. The mark I had given him, we had given each other. An echo of that night replayed in my mind. The night we marked each other with our Wolf marks, and the night we made his mark permanent on my skin.
The passion and desire barreled through my mind and I knew Raziel could feel it. He was in front of me within an instant, tangling his hand through my hair as he smashed his lips into mine. He gripped my hair tightly and pulled back, leaving my neck completely exposed.
He sunk his fangs into my neck causing me to gasp out in pleasure. Ever since Rowen got a pet, it seemed like Raziel had taken a liking to drinking my blood. Not that it gave him the same effects as a pet would, I assume, but he still did it, nonetheless.
I gasped as he pushed two fingers into my slit, pumping them in and out painfully slow. He took his time and savored every last drop of blood he could take. I was so engrossed in what he was doing that I hadn’t even realized he had stripped his clothing.
He healed my neck before lifting me onto the bathroom counter, and slamming his hardened length deep inside of me. I moaned out in pleasure as he took me, forcing himself deeper and deeper inside of me until I was taking every last inch he could offer.
One hand kept my hips in place where he wanted them, and the other held my neck firmly. My hand was tangled into his hair, and the other on his wrist to steady myself. He was feral. I could feel the absolute pleasure coursing through his body.
“Don’t come until I tell you.” He growled in my ear, but I almost lost it right then and there. His husky voice infiltrated my senses causing me to try and clench my legs together to stop my orgasm. Raziel wasn’t having any part of it.
He loved to torture me by commanding me not to come, but then forcing me to anyways. He used the hand he had on my throat to rub my clit. “f*****g take it.” He growled in my ear. I moaned out in pleasure as he had me at my climax but still hadn’t given me permission to come.
“Please, I can’t stop it.” I moaned. I could hear him snicker approvingly. “Come for me, darling.” He purred, but he knew I was already there. I completely let myself go, as he sank his fangs into my neck once again, causing a mind shattering orgasm. The kind that makes your legs shake, and your entire existence shatter against the one you love.
He came at the same time, pushing himself further into me, if that were even possible. Our lips met before he let me down, causing lightning to course through our bodies. It felt like our mate bonds get stronger with every intimate moment we had. I smiled against his lips.
“I think I need another shower now.” I giggled. Raziel smirked at me, and joined me inside. We spent the rest of the day together. We didn’t get to see each other much, so we took advantage of the time we did get.
Night came far too soon, but falling asleep within the arms of my mate was nothing short of magnificent. I would never take him for granted. He was much too important to me for that. The next week went by without a hitch. We had 11 families move into the blended lands and agree to work on building relationships with each other.
I say 11 because no one agreed to move into my old home. I guess they thought I still used it or maybe it was sentimental value. But no one wanted to live in the Luna’s home so it remained empty. We stationed separate guards in the area to ensure safety until we were sure it would work out.
It wasn’t long before Beta Sean was comfortable letting the secret out concerning his twins and them being Hybrids. This was what I was going for this entire time. I wanted to free those boys from having to live a life of hiding in the shadows because of what they were.
It worked though, and after a month and a half had gone by, we decided to expand the merged land and add more families. We had a lot more volunteers this time. We had to make a waiting list. This merge was going so much better than I had anticipated.
We started out with coven meetings, pack meetings, and then blended Obsidian meetings. Slowly the blended meetings were gaining more and more people. The more we were able to get on board, the less other meetings we had to have. Within a 6 month period we had our entire pack lands and the surrounding covens completely merged and getting along. We found that there were more kids like Beta Sean’s twins. More Hybrids, and they were completely accepted by the majority of the crowd.
I also found out that the twins’s mother, Kateria, had been secretly visiting this entire time and she had put a glamor on the twins to conceal their eye color. It was still a bronze color of sorts, but not the bright fusion bronze that I saw on Ramses.
Her change was just enough to keep their true identities from getting out before now. I only knew because as a Reaver, I could feel my own kind’s magic pulsing through their veins.
Raziel and his priests were now joined by Alpha Drake and his higher ups for meetings rather than holding them separately. The Obsidian Council was now in effect, and nothing snuck past. We opted to keep the name. We were still known as the Obsidian Pack. And the Reavers now blended into it with us.
We were all one entity now, making us the largest pack out there. With numbers doubling, and even tripling other packs. Alpha Drake was now known as the leader of the largest, and most brutal pack in the world.
