CHAPTER FIVE As Sadie and O’Hara set up shop in the small galley, waiting for Paul Montford to arrive, Sadie continued to question the rig manager about the engineering assistant. “The guy that Montford put in the infirmary,” she asked. “Was a weapon used?” “No.” Mason shook his head firmly. “Just fists. Monty is a fighter; he can look after himself. Most of the guys can, but Monty, well, you wouldn’t want to cross him and then bump into him in a dark alley.” “So, you don’t think he would be the type to use a weapon, if he and Chuck got into a fight?” “No. But…if he was angry enough…” Mason’s voice trailed off.
