Chapter 1 (THE MEETING)
The car drove through the bustling downtown and entered a luxurious villa
James opened the door and entered the house with Enya's suitcase.
Enya followed him in. As soon as she stepped on the carpet, she heard lena screaming, “Oh, God! Step out! You’re dirtying the carpet. I just changed it today. Look at your shoes! They’re covered in mud.”
Enya flinched back at the deafening voice.
She stepped out of the house and looked at her shoes. A frown lined her forehead when she realized they weren’t dirty.
Lena was deliberately insulting her.
Just then, the sound of soft footsteps reverberated across the house.
Natalie penham descended the stairs, twirling a strand of hair around her finger as she happily looked at the door. The smile on her face froze the moment she saw Enya
She hadn’t seen her sister for several years — her parents had left Enya in the countryside to be raised by other people. She felt a pang of jealousy because Enya had become more beautiful now. Natalie had always been jealous of Enya and despised her for being the prettier child. The gap between the two had grown bigger over the years.
Natalie quickly faked a smile and looked at her mom "mom why didn't you let my sister inside,"
“Her shoes are covered in mud,” her mom said with disgust.
"Ooh,I think it would be better if you take off those dirty shoes because you look like a beggar," Natalie words dripped with mockery. She turned around and sashayed into the living room
Lena quickly strutted to the shoe cabinet, pulled out a pair of shoe covers from the drawer, and threw it at Enya. “You think too much of yourself, don’t you?” she snapped viciously. “Wear them before setting foot into my house silly girl!”
Lena insults pierced through Enya's heart. She put on the plastic shoe covers and looked up, anger blazing in her eyes.
She couldn’t argue with them
So they went to the dining to eat
Lena sat beside Enya, dazzling as ever, even in her fifties. “Enya, the reason why we brought you home is because you are getting married to mr fen," she said
Enya choked on her food and stared at her mom
"I don't understand, dad what is mom saying," she said while looking at her parents
"Honey, we just want what's best for you," James said
Enya put down the knife and fork and looked at him. " you want what's best for me and you are selling me off to get married to an old man enough to be my grandfather," Enya shouted
Lena stood up and slapped Enya on the cheeks
"How dare you shout at my husband, after taking care of you and feeding you. Its either you get married to Mr fen or you leave this house for good," she said
Enya held her cheeks as tears were falling
She didn’t plan to live her life with Mr fen
"I rather leave than getting married to Mr fen,"she said while walking out of the couples
Enya took her suitcase and went out of the house, she had no where to go and she had just a little amount of money with her so she saw a club nearby and she went in and ordered for an alcoholic drink, she wanted to drink out all her sorrows so she got drunk and started dancing all her pains out
Jordan pov
He was at a club and he needed someone to f*ck just to relax his mind, so he told someone to bring him a girl...
While sitting down he saw a lady swaying her hips to the song being played in the bar and he got turned on just by watching her dance
Enya was in her drunken state so she started moving toward the toilet unknowingly to her two men were following her ....
