My lost princess

Chapter one: It was a ten-year reign of Cassius "Cash" Blackwood, the Alpha of the moon shadow pack. Nancy, who was Alpha's mate, gave birth to a baby girl called Astrid. There was a little boy, the son of Arkeus Cassius "Cash" Blackwood's brother Ryker. Ryker was two years old when Astrid was born and the both of them grew up together in the pack. Astrid attended the school of a Great Healer in the pack called Kasulu. Who knows more about Leaf and Habs drugs while Ryker joins the School of Warriors they both have a happy life throughout their school days. It was a happy day when the Alpha appointed Ryker as leader of the warriors in the pack. “I am Cassius "cash" Blackwood the Alpha of Moon Shadow Pack l hereby appoint Ryker as the leader of all the warriors in the pack.” Ryker was glad about his appointment but his father Arkeus was very angry at his brother who was the Alpha of the pack. Arkeus thought that his brother Cassius "cash" Blackwood wanted to deny his son's title as the prince of the pack. Immediately Arkeus left the event with his guards when the Alpha wanted to Crown his son Ryker as the army leader in the pack. After the ceremony, Astrid asked Ryker why his father left the event. “It seems your father is not happy about your appointment, perhaps you should check on him.” “Why? But I don't notice” Immediately he went alone to check on his father who lives on the other side of the pack. On getting there he meant his father sitting and worried about what his brother did to his son. Ryker was very curious to see his dad in that mood. “But Dad, why did you leave the event and now see you worried?” Ryker was expecting a fearful response But his father raised his voice. “Keep quiet you no nothing about what my brother done to you, so remain silent” “But dad, that's why I'm here to ask you what is the matter” Ryker still expects Arkeus to give him a response but the more Arkeus gets angry. “If you want to know then stay here with me until I ask you to leave.” “I can't dad, I need to serve my duty” Ryker proved stubbornness to his dad. “I don't want that for you. If you want to know, stay, and if you don't want to know then leave.” Arkeus tries to let Ryker know how wicked his brother is, for giving him the leader of the warrior's title which he sees as a very wrong decision, But Ryker refuses to stay and leaves his father's house that night. It was in the middle of the night; when three men covered their faces with masks came into the pack and stole Nancy, the mother of the pack's Gold, without being captured by any army in the pack. Immediately the Alpha heard the news. He questioned all the army including their leader. “Who came into the pack to steal the gold?” “My Alpha, we have no idea about all this” the warriors responded. They were all surprised how this could happen under their control. “Kato arrested the leader?.” The Alpha ordered Kato, the second in command, to arrest the captain. Ryker was punished for it. “Dad please don't take this action on Ryker, he is innocent of this case.” Astrid cries to her father who was the Alpha of the pack for the release of Ryker. But the Alpha tried to consider her plea. “No!!! You must not reverse your words, remember your words are law” Nancy the Alpha mate who was the mother of the pack told Cassius "Cash" Blackwood the Alpha not to release Ryker until his Gold was found. Astrid always came to the jail where Ryker was to give him food. “Why have you done this to my son? Have you forgotten he is the prince of this pack?” Arkeus came to his brother and talked with him. “Why are you questioning my authority?” the Alpha replied immediately to Arkeus. But for the sake of peace, the elders who sat beside the throne came in between to settle the dispute. Within a few minutes of their discussion. The Alpha ordered Ryker's release. Immediately after Ryker was released by the Alpha he went back to his father and apologized for not listening to him. “Dad I'm sorry” but Arkeus looked at him and smiled then sent for the second in command (Beta) whose name was Kato. It was late in the night when the moon gave light when Kato arrived at Arkeus’ house. Kato, whose grandfather had been a pack omega for many years before he died, Kato knows much more about the pack's history. “Here I am Arkeus you sent for me,” Kato said when he got to Arkeus' house seeing him and Ryker in a serious mood. “I invited you here to expose something to my son who has never for once listened to my instructions.” Then Arkeus asks him to narrate the story of the Alpha Royal family to Ryker. “Hmmm. Ok Arkeus.” “Thirty years ago there was an alpha of the moon shadow pack who was named Cedric; he was your great-grandfather. Who makes a law that anyone who is disabled is not entitled to lead this pack but he must not be denied as the prince of the land unless he or she has a son who is not disabled.” “Which means l can still be the alpha of this pack?” Ryker asked questions instantly. “Yes, Ryker unless this alpha has no child.” Kato lets Ryker know that he is entitled to be the Alpha as Astrid is entitled to be the Alpha but he can only become the Alpha unless the Alpha has no child. “Dad, which means we can take over the throne now.” Then Ryker told his father they should rebel but he refused “I'm only doing all this for you to see yourself as a great prince of this great pack,” Arkeus warned him not to do otherwise. “If you don't rise and fight for him to be the Alpha, if not he might not be the Alpha forever.” Kato tried to convince Arkeus to support his son in any of his plans. Because Kato loves Ryker so much. Arkeus felt reluctant but later joined him. Ryker called his friends Kage and Phoenix and told them his plan Kage was very happy “I will be the next Alpha friend now”. He reacted because he disliked Astrid the same as Ryker. “Which means Astrid needs to be found no more” he advised to kidnap Astrid. “But how can this be done, Kage.” Phoenix was scared because Astrid's guards were the wolf warriors in the pack and their leader Thane Thunderhoof was very powerful. “We only need a trap of ambush to execute Thane Thunderhoof.” Kage always gives them confidence. To plan and kill Thane Thunderhoof, the leader of Astrid's guards who happened to be one of the wolves’ warriors. It was in the yearly gods festival in the land when an enemy of the pack came to attack them, as tough as the war. Ryker and his friends see this as an opportunity to execute Thane Thunderhoof through the battle. “Thane Thunderhoof!!!” Phoenix called him from afar. And sent an arrow from a hidden place directly to Thane Thunderhoof immediately after he fell. “Hey who is behind the wall” Kage notices someone is around them. But it was the Alpha Spices who saw Phoenix. He wanted to expose him but he was killed by Ryker immediately. When Astrid heard this news she was shocked and cried over the death of Thane Thunderhoof. “My deepest sympathy for your loss” Ryker sympathizes with her, unknowing to her that he knows about the death of Thane Thunderhoof. “I promised to give you a strong army from the camp to be the leader of the wolf warriors” Ryker appoints one of his friends Kage to be the leader of the wolf warriors. There is a close maid of Astrid her name is Lucy she knows more about Ryker and his plan but anytime she tries to let Astrid know about what is going on Astrid always refuses to believe her. “Trust me, my Princess Ryker plans to take over the throne as the Alpha of the pack.” “It can never stop this statement Lucy and get away from my sight” The princess replied and sent her away. Immediately Lucy heard another news that Kage was the leader of Astrid's guards, the wolf warriors. She was very sad because he knew them. Lucy called Astrid to let her know that Kage had been appointed to monitor her. Astrid always refused to believe her “My cousin can't hit me, he loves me like l do. Why are you assuming Lucy? She kept quiet. It was a sad day Astrid was expecting her morning coffee from her cook. “Take this five thousand coins and serve her the coffee with aconitine poison.” Kage plans with Astrid's cook to poison her but both are captured by Lucy's spices called Azirah. Lucy has a spy who is monitoring Kage and his men's movement for the sake of Astrid. Immediately she saw them, she ran to expose this to Lucy and Astrid. But Kage ran after her. “Get her now” he called on the rest of the wolf warriors to capture her but she escaped.
