BLOOD AND OUTSIDE
Episode 1
The Birth.
"Hey mom good news" said Vetter.
"What good news?" replied the mom.
"I've found a suitor and he will be coming over in the weekend" Vetter with a big smile on her face.
"Wow that's a good news" the mother replied spreading her hands for a hug.
"Mom the best part of the story is that he is a king" Vetter said jumping and shouting.
"Oh my world" Vetter's mother said
also shouting.
"My children will be from a royal family" Vetter said with joy.
Someone was at the door, Vetter stood from her seat in her purple embroidered white gown with black brunette hair. It was a servant who had come to serve her food. She went back to her seat trying to flashback again, but she couldn't.
"This was a whole fifteen years ago" she murmured.
"God please, bless me with a child, I've waited for so long" she said looking upwards to the ceiling with silver lining.
Vetter continued hoping to get a child but two years had added to the fifteen years she've been waiting.
All her pregnancies proved to be abortive.
She kept on hoping to God.
She had faith.
One morning, Vetter woke up from sleep and noticed stomach cramps, which she had never had before. She consulted a midwife, and the midwife told her she was six months pregnant.
The news reached the king the king was happy, but his only prayer was for the pregnancy to remain.
Eight months had gone, the pregnancy was still there. The queen engaged into serious prayers. She consulted the midwife again and she said " The child will remain, and you will give birth safely"
The queen was happy at hearing this and he shared the news with his husband, and joy gradually returned into their hearts, lightening up the candle of hope in them both.
One evening, the queen was seating in the courtyard, looking around. She watched how leaves and tree branches moved up and down as if they were bowing to something invisible.
"Haaaaaa" the queen shouted.
A midwife rushed and saw the queen holding onto a small tree and pointing at her protruded stomach.
The midwife called other midwives and they came, covered the scene with wrappers held by midwives in a big circle, and the queen was at the centre.
"Haaaaaa" the queen shouted and groaned.
"Almost out" one of the midwives said.
The queen was weak, but managed to momentarily look in between her legs. She saw something fall to the ground sounding like a stone dropped on the ground. With hazy sight, she saw that thing wrapped up in a white garment, the midwife carried it, bringing it close to the mother.
Vetter heard the cry of a baby, it was a he. "Dan" she said almost in a whisper and fainted.
