Sierra's POV My eyelids were heavy as I fluttered them open. My throat itched, making me cough. I dragged my eyes around and then to the basin that had the drug in it. From the looks of things, Richard has been gone a while. That thought snapped the tiredness to the back of my mind as I struggled with the ropes. I had been in the middle of the barely furnished room, but now I was at the side. My eyes landed on the phone on the makeshift bed. I pulled my hands some more. I needed to get to it. Wherever Richard had me in, there was a chance I wouldn't be found. I couldn't imagine going back to the life I had run away from. I kept tugging on the ropes, but they were too tight.
