All eyes turned to Dexter. Before Arthur could speak, he took the lead. “The question wasn’t for you,” Eve said.
“He is hesitating. Why can’t I take it?” Dexter asked.
“I wasn’t hesitating,” Arthur said, and Eve gave him a look. “I’ll do anything to prove to Sierra I would not hurt her,” he added.
“What do you want me to do?” Arthur asked.
“Reject her,” Eve pointed at Maria. “publicly and confess to Sierra,” she took a step forward towards Arthur, “on your knees in front of everyone,”
“Fine, I’ll do it,” Arthur said, matching out of the balcony.
