Chapter 4 Connor had finally finished the last of the chairs for the dining set. Using Fiona’s body to satisfy himself had cleared his head. He’d get the first coat of stain on the bare wood and then pack for camping. Although he loved his house, even with the work it needed, the urge to leave the city to get to wide-open space never left him. Maybe it was the time he’d spent in prison that caused it.
