Episode 1 (Ana) Today is supposed to be the most happiest day of my life, why is she not here yet? I walked out of the party and sat in a more conducive area where I called kim's number... "hello, where are you.. "hey birthday girl I'm on my way already.. "shut up liar, you said that thirty minutes ago.. "I'm so sorry, gotta go see you in a bit.. (Kim nana) (sad expression) I'm sorry Ana just a little more time. "hey will you serve us our alcohol or not.. (a customer yelled) "I am sorry sir, I will bring it right away.. serving at a bar is so tiring and exhausting but I have to run to Ana's party. (at Ana's birthday party) " I hope you had fun today?.. "not really but thank you.. "hey pretty, I got you a birthday gift, it's a necklace made in England, for a queen like you.you don't like it? why the sad face, it's your birthday. my mood instantly brighten up as soon as I saw Kim from afar.. "hey Kim over here.. "hmmm.. so you got a friend like that? ( one of my numerous play boy's asked with a mocking smirk) "that?? (I asked raising my brows) "yeah, I mean she is nothing like you she is the exact opposite of you.. he didn't finish his sentence when I stepped on him with my heals and he screamed out loud.. Kim was once a rich pretty girl but her parents had failed business, they became poor and I had to accommodate her in my house so basically we love together. I ran to Kim and hugged her tight. (Ana) it's past an hour already, I feel so exhausted so I went searching for Kim. walking by the pool side I missed my steps and fell in to the pool.. I screamed out for help and four guys rushed in to rescue me. (Kim) oh no it's Ana.. I was so shocked, I was running to meet her when I got pushed inside the pool, I was sinking but no one came to help all attention was on Ana no one noticed I was in the pool. I tried to float on top of the water to gasp for air. I managed to come out of the pool and walked home drenched in water and my phone got soaked too. I walked past few people on the street throwing glances at me some laughed at me.. "why is she so wet...(they mumbled to themselves) I feel embarrassed and walked home. The blaring sound of an alarm clock woke me up. "urg... it's morning already? I slowly get off the bed and walked to the sitting room.. I arrived at the company five minutes before the interview. "oh no, I will be late before I get to the fifth floor. I ran to the elevator before it closes. I met people inside already, then a blonde beautiful lady came in after me but the elevator announced one person needs to go off as the elevator is too crowdy. " I guess I will step out then, since the blonde lady doesn't want to get off.. I was about leaving when a guy pushed her out and asked me to join them, I quickly got in, I could see her glaring at me as the elevator door closed. AT THE INTERVIEW "so miss Kim nana, how hard are you willing to work to bring support the company. "I promise to work hard and make sure not to disappoint you. "alright I hope so.. you may take your leave we will get back to you. "okay thank you sir. it started raining on my way to the bus station. I had to run home as there were no bus at the station and my house isn't so far. I met a car at the front of our apartment and I could see Ana kissing a guy in the the car.. "what??? I'm sure going to teach her a lesson today, at least they should get a room. she dropped from the car and watched it drove away still didn't notice me standing. I moved close to her and smacked her head.. "you brat, are you guys dating? "ahhh, why did you do that? and no we aren't dating. "what? but I saw you guys kissing.. "yeah he's just one of my crushes, I just want to confirm if he is a good kisser.. "hell! you're one spoilt brat. "whatever we walked inside together and I walked straight to my room to shower after wards I sat at my reading table, scrolling through my emails when I bumped in to a message. it was Gibson's message. I was so happy and surprised, I ran to Ana's room "Ana do you remember the fat looking boy that always follows me around when we were little? "oh yeah the boy, what's his name again?? " Gibson "yeah Gibson.. what about him? "he sent me an email few days ago and I just got to see it now. he wants to meet up tomorrow. "why are you so happy to see the fat boy anyways? "he.. is..my friend too. I went to my room feeling happy and smiling, I can't wait to meet him tomorrow. it's been so long. Gibson is my first love. the next day I woke up so happy, dressed in my best outfit and Ana offered to drop me off in her car. "why are you so happy Kim? "why not? "whatever I liked him. we got to the park where I'm to meet Gibson and Ana dropped me and drove off afterwards. i walked inside the park and looked around, I spotted a fat guy sitting on the bench eating bugger but I couldn't see his face from afar so I walked straight to him. I walked to sit at the bench close by and then a call came in, it was Gibson "hey, where are you. "I'm at the park waiting for you, where are you? "I'm at the park too. I saw a very handsome, tall and slim looking man waving towards my direction. "can you see the guy waving? " uhmm.. uhmm.. I instantly lost track of words.. then he started walking towards my direction but then he suddenly walked past me and met a lady behind me. I was dumbfounded. "you're Kim right? "huh? no I'm not... "oh sorry I mistook you for someone else. (Kim nana) I felt so hurt, have I changed that much that Gibson couldn't recognize me? I'm not as rich and beautiful as I use to be. I instantly lost confidence I couldn't even walk up to him that I'm here.. to think he has changed in to a slim handsome man I'm surprised I didn't recognize him until he asked the other lady if she was Kim. without thinking twice I left the park in a hurry, I bumped in to Ana in the neighborhood coming out of a*****e. "hey, you're back already? "yeah "is everything alright? why are you crying. come let's sit on the bench over there... so you mean the ugly fat boy is now a good looking young man? impressive. (Ana) Kim finally got me to accept her crazy Idea of meeting Gibson and pretending to be her.. I just hope this won't get us in trouble. Kim followed me to the park and hid her self after showing me Gibson from afar. I walked up to Gibson where he was sitting back facing me. "hey Gibson right? "hi, Kim? "yes, nice to meet you again.( I tried to force a smile) "it has been a long time, and I most say you have changed totally.. I couldn't even recognize you. he hugged me tight, and asked to take me to a coffee shop. all this while Kim was behind us. we got to the coffee shop and he ordered for us while we chat. "so how is your mom and dad. "they are doing okay, how is your mom doing? "huh?? (he stared at me confused) I quickly glanced at Kim who was sitting right behind Gibson and she wrote on a paper (his mom is dead) "uhmm.. I meant to say did your father remarried. (quickly covering for my mistakes) "oh, I thought you forgot I lost my mom, and yes my dad got married three years ago. "how can I forget, that's good. (pheew... almost got me) " so what are you in to now? "urhmm, still studying. "that's nice... we talked a bit more before we decided to call it a day. we got outside and stood by the road side. it's dark and by the cool breeze blowing you could tell it will rain anytime soon. "Kim please wait here for a moment I will be back. "uhh..okay (Gibson) there was a*****e right across the street I got inside and grabbed an umbrella. staring at the umbrella in hands I remembered when I used to get bullied In school and Kim would scare off my bullies.. she would wipe away my tears many times, ask me to learn to be my own shield and she would always be my umbrella. I couldn't forget those words and I would carry them in my heart to bed every night. I paid for the umbrella and walked up to Kim (Ana) and gave her the umbrella, stopped a cab for her then we said our goodbyes. (Kim nana) I watched Gibson drove off I'm his car before stopping a cab to take me home. Ana gave me the umbrella and I slept that night with so much joy. next morning I woke up, cleaned the house as I dance in joy. afterwards I decided to check my email for updates. just then I saw the shock of my life...
