Chapter 11

‎"What do you mean acted all high and mighty? I never did such thing. You never even knew me" Agnus said, very angry but Ella didn't look phased.

‎"You made it seem that way. You never accepted any invites, most thought otherwise but I thought that you were looking down on us and treating us all this way then you left and you never looked back" Ella explained her own thoughts.

‎"Excuse me?!" Now Agnus was shouting

‎"You never knew me yet you have the audacity to make assumptions" She yelled, getting lots of attention from her customers who began watching the drama unfold.

‎"Well, it's not my fault that you never gave anyone a chance to get to know you" Now Ella was yelling while Isabelle tried to get them both to keep quiet

‎"Guys, quiet down. You're yelling and drawing attention" She said but all she got was "Butt out of this Isabelle!" They yelled at her simultaneously.

‎"Okay, if you say so".

‎"I had my reasons. Alot is done in this world with a reason" Agnus argued.

‎"Your reason, no matter what it was or is don't justify your actions! You hurt a lot of people by acting ignorant" Ella said.

‎"I acted ignorant?! And who did I hurt?! It was my decision, I made sure to let them down easy. Besides everyone just got on with their lives after I said no and soon everyone stopped inviting me to things so I left, thinking that no one would notice or even care" Agnus explained while still yelling.

‎"Well, I cared and Isabelle cared but you just left. You leaving hurt because even though you rejected all plans, I still considered you a friend!" Ella yelled. Agnus stopped then and just stared at Ella who's face was red from anger and she was holding back tears. Had agnus really hurt people this much without knowing. If she had, she hadn't meant to. She had just been guarding her heart but in the process, she hurt others. She said nothing afterwards and Ella also calmed down once she realized this.

‎"Can we go to my design room to finish this conversation?" Agnus asked, her voice barely a whisper but they both heard and nodded. They followed her up the stairs to the second floor and everyone returned back to what they were previously doing. Once Agnus shut the door behind her, she sat down on the couch opposite the couch that Isabelle and Ella sat on. Her head down casted, her hair covering her face as she thought.

‎Ella and Isabelle just stared, waited until "I'm sorry" those were the first words that came out of her mouth. She looked up and it turns out, she wasn't crying.

‎"I went through a betrayed friendship and I lost trust in making friends that would later hurt me. I never meant to hurt anyone. I guess I am selfish since I never thought about others feelings, only mine. I never thought someone would actually want to be friends with me and I just... I'm really sorry" She apologized. Ella and Isabelle glanced at one another then Isabelle stood up from the couch, sat beside Agnus and hugged her tight, surprising Agnus for the second time. She was even more surprised when Ella sat at her other side and also hugged her.

‎"I'm sorry too, for misunderstanding. I guess Isa was right. Everyone has their reasons. I took my anger from years ago out on you and I apologize for that but know this" She pulled away and turned Agnus to face her "Know this, we are not like the ones who betrayed you. We're different" She said

‎"I know, I recently met someone who helped me realize that" Agnus said smiling

‎"Ohh, who is it? Is it a guy?" Isabelle asked, wanting juicy gist.

‎"Isa, don't just ask things like that but is it a guy?" Ella scolded then also asked. Agnus chuckled "Yes, it's a guy and I think I love him". Isabelle squealed "When's the wedding?" She asked

‎"Isa!" Ella chided

‎"What? I have to know" Isabelle said.

‎"So does this mean we can be friends?" Agnus asked, stopping their sibling banter.

‎"Of course we are already friends" They said in unison

‎"But our kind of friendship, you have to tell us about this betrayal" Ella said.

‎"Ella, you can't force her to speak" Isabelle said

‎"No, I can tell you two. I trust you, well my heart tells me to trust you so I'll tell you" Agnus said. How will Isabelle and Ella react to the news of Matilda and Damien?
