GARBLED

My mom's scream wakes me up then what sounds like a gunshot follows almost immediately, I get down from the bed and run out of the room to check on what is happening as I get to my mom's room and switch on the light what I see drains all the blood from my face. "Mom, mom." i sob. My mom lies in a puddle of blood on her bed. I take out my phone to call for help and the next thing I know someone pulls at me."Nooo," I feel the anger the darkness growing inside me, the pain becomes so unbearable that I scream, I scream with all my power, I scream because I know I just lost my mom and whoever killed her has come for me, everything goes blurry. I get up and realize I had passed out but where is the person who was pulling at me I turn only to see someone lying at the entrance of my mom's room, "what happened," I go over to see who it is only to see it is a man putting on gloves, the hands of the person who pulled at me felt gloved. Veins are popping out of his face, he looks so scary that for a while I actually forget i just lost my mom. I rush back to where my mom's body lay to get my phone and call for help. "What happened ."the police asks for what feels like the hundredth time, "I don't know." I sob. I was sleeping when I heard my mom scream followed by a gunshot I rushed to her room only to see her dead lying in blood, when I pick up my phone to call for help someone pulls at me I scream and I pass out, when I get up I see him lying there that's all I know. "I am so sorry, we would do our best to find out who did this". Everything the police are saying feels so strange to me nothing makes sense to me. "Come on let's get you somewhere good to sleep." "let me get some of my stuff." Immediately I step into my room someone or something pulls at me and all I see is darkness.
