The Rare Breed

As I walked into this academy with an open mind I couldn’t help but sense that something feels different. I unpacked my bags in my dorm for the females that the state has provided as we are down in Columbus Ohio. Six females to a dorm but there was just one female in my dorm. Tianna is her name quiet female but no wolf. Kentana would have sense it. Tianna stands about 5”2 115 pounds olive skin tone just like myself but she has hazel eyes and dark black hair. Petite but yet athletic body type. These dorms have their own little cubes with a door included just enough room where a bed and desk can fit. There is a common area has a fridge couches microwave a vending machine and a tv and what it looks like the hangout spot cause most of the females are hanging out. I am not a social butterfly I prefer to be alone. Kentana sensed another wolf and I had turned around and it was Tianna. I scratched my head. What? She said. I pulled her aside cause some humans are afraid of our kind so we are asked if they don’t know that we are part wolf we are keep it to ourselves. When I walked into the dorm my wolf couldn’t sense yours so I assumed that you were human I lowered voice. Tianna smiled and giggled yet. Kikeo can hide our scent. I’m Viennese and Korean mixed we have the ability to hide our scent beginning at the age of 13. She replied. Oh I replied. What is your name I didn’t catch it when I was in the dorm. She had asked. Mia I replied. Your wolf she gestured. Kentana I replied as I put my food in the fridge. Kikeo doesn’t sense anymore wolves she replied I guess we are the only wolves here. Where are you located? I had asked Toledo she replied. You she asked. As we walked down the hall back to our dorms. Hicksville I replied. And let me guess TOCI. Yes, I replied. I guess we are coworkers she replied. I was really hoping I would be the only TOCI but I guess not. I am not that type to have a best friend the only best friend I have is my cousin Maira. So got any plans? Tianna asked. No not really I said in a non exciting voice. Well, there is a guy and group of friends going to this bar that has singing would you want to go? Sure, why not I replied. I finally got unpacked and ready to go this so called bar that has karaoke I am not much of a drinker nor a going out with others type of person but there is another wolf and as my duty I got to be sure she makes it back. We made it to the bar Tianna was talking about. There were strobe lights loud music, Tianna brought a buff light skinned guy and introduced him as Shaw. What a high ego he has Kentana chimed in. I smiled letting him know my name was Mia and held out my hand to give him a hand shake. He replied with a smile and said good to meet you shaking my hand back. Then Tianna pulled a blond haired blued eye standing a little taller than myself this is Hicks she smiled. Telling me she has already had her eyes out for him. He was clearly not interested in her the way he rolled his eyes. Hi, I’m Mia. Mia? Mia what he shouted over the loud music. Mia Brauning I replied back. Nice to meet you he replied. With no smile on his face Shaw and Tianna went up to go sing as Hicks and I stood at the bar to have a drink. What facility are you going to he asked. TOCI I replied back taking a drink of my beer. You? Same here replied. Great was this a set up, i asked Kentana. No he replied. My eyes c****d wide and turned to him. I got up from my chair and pulled him outside. How did you know? Your scent he giggled. What’s so funny? You had to pull me out here just to clarify that you have a wolf. When you could have easily talked back to me. You have a wolf? Yes, his name is Knox. And yours? Kentana. So, he kicked at a rock do you and Kentana want to leave and go find something else better. Negative I replied. Can’t leave Tianna she is the only wolf in there. Very true he replied. We walked back in where the music was loud and someone awful was singing I looked up and found it was Tianna. By the end of the night Tianna was plastered and so I had drive back to the academy. Hopefully she isn’t loud I got out of my car where hicks was standing to help me get Tianna out of the car. She can sure hold her licker as I pulled her over my head on my shoulder. We got to the female building where hicks said he couldn’t enter. Yes, I know I gripped Tianna’s hand and picked up her bag. Hey, Hicks said have a good night see you tomorrow. I gave a small smile back and same to you and walked Tianna back into the dorm. By 5am I was up with my hair pulled into a sock bun and my pants are bloused. Tianna was in casual clothing and had asked why are you in uniform. TOCI requires us to be in uniform even when in the academy I replied. She let a loud sigh out and went back to her cube. She comes out with her hair down shirt untucked and boots looking like a hot mess. Luckily class didn’t start until 8am. I laughed, do you need help. Yes, please this is confusing and this is my first time being in actual uniform. Take your shirt off and hand it to me. She took her shirt off and she was wearing a cami underneath. Girl, I laughed here I threw her one of my black shirts put this on you can’t wear a cami underneath a black or white T-shirt. She threw it on and I had handed her uniform shirt ironed. What now, I dug in my back for pant blouses here tuck your pant legs in this. As I shined her boots here I put them in front of her. Okay now what about my hair she said. I went into my bag and gave her my extra donut. How am I supposed to wear this. She had asked as she examined it. Sit I grabbed the chair that was at the desk. I grabbed some gel and started to put her hair in a pony. I had wrapped her hair around the donut. Okay what about my face? She asked. Light eyeliner and mascara. I replied grabbing her make up bag. No eye shadow? She sighed. No, a prison isn’t a dating pool not even your co-workers. Time we were done it was 6:30, Tianna looked in the mirror. Oh my gosh really I look all serious. You are supposed to I laughed. Now let’s go get breakfast. When we walked into the cafeteria everyone else was in casual clothing but TOCI officers. Hicks comes up to me and says are you trying to copy me. I looked at him and he was dressed the same minus the bun as Tianna and I. No, I replied with a giggle just military background. Yea, Tianna said I was once a fashion doll now look at me I am a GIJoe doll.
