Shane’s POV
After Kiana explained everything, we went straight to my father and the other alphas to explain to them the actual danger everyone was in. This was far beyond what we had at first expected. We thought that all of this was about killing Lia. Then she was told he wanted to kill me too to gain more power. The power we thought he would get from my pack being vulnerable. But we were wrong. Boy, we were wrong. He didn’t just need Lia to make sure he would be able to stay on the throne. He would need Lia and her necklace to steal the power from every alpha alive. Or soon to be dead that was.
“We can’t let this happen,” Thomas roared.
“I agree,” my father spoke.
“We need to make a new strategy.”
“We can’t do that now,” I said. “He will be here the day before the full moon.”
