Chapter Thirty-Nine

    In an effort to try and catch Luke off-guard, we decided to attack him first and on his territory.  There were a lot of arguments on this particular decision, and to be honest both sides had valid points.

    One side felt that if we attacked first we’d be giving him the home advantage seeing that it was his territory and he and his pack knew the land better than any of us.  However the other side argued that if we wait to allow him to gather all the necessary alliances and resources he needs, we may be sabotaging ourselves.

    I had mixed feelings about this plan as well.  On one hand, I wanted to do it because the sooner we attack and start this war, the sooner we can get Bren back home.  However, as an Alpha, I needed to think about the welfare of my pack, and keep the
