Chapter Forty

~Easton~     At Luke’s command the warriors he mustered up shifted into their wolf skin and charged towards us.  The wolves on our side responded with a nasty growl of their own and shifted, meeting the oncoming attack with a clash in the middle.     The battleground is a jumble of limbs and fur, grunts, snarls, and cries of pain fill the air.  I charge into the fury, choosing to remain mainly in my human for and transform my hands into claws to defend myself.  For the most part I’m able to incapacitate the wolves that attack me and knock them out without further damage.  There’s always the chance of the wolves waking up and hurting us again if we don’t put them down, but I’d rather not lose any life—regardless of which side they fought on.     Some of the wolves we fight look and act s
