“Let me go with you,” I told Connor the moment that we took a step on the top floor of their agency. He turned at me with a pointed look on his face, but I never really cared about it because of my worry for Caleb’s safety. “I just want to know if he is just alright and unharmed.” I looked down at my shoes as I did not know what to say any longer. I feared that my Father had done something to Caleb, and I certainly did not like the idea of that.
