Chapter Seven ~ Street War

1584 Words
Dragon and I woke up to the noises outside at three in the morning. Everyone woke up to the noises coming from outside. We all spread out to check inside the house as Shae started barking at the back door window. Hercules opened the door to the back yard and walked outside in slippers and hoodie to search the premises as he saw feathers tracking into the woods with footsteps. The moment he entered into the forest, a yellow killer flock flew from the trees and snatched him off the ground as he screamed for help loud enough for all of us to run outside as we saw the flock flying him in the air. Dragon and I activated our kagunes and flew up to go rescue him together. Moira jumped on the roof and howled for the wolves to run after the flock who captured Hercules. A second flock tried to capture Dragon from his behind until the Night watchers came to the rescue and distracted the second Flock. It took both of us to attack the back of the female Flocks wings to try to force it to release Hercules. “HANG ON BROTHER! WE GOT YOU!” Dragon shouted as Hercules stayed calm trying not to look down. Two Night watchers popped in front of the yellow Flock and used a net to cover the face. Dragon stabbed it in the ankle as it let lose Hercules that two people grabbed him from falling on the ground. The Flock tried to fight us with the net wrapped around her face. I kicked the flock in the chest until it landed on top of Aogiri Tree Deer factory building. The alarms turned on as overnight employees evacuated out of the building with their kagunes activated for self defense. The second flock tried to attack me as I used my ukaku wings and slapped it across the chest as it lands on the parking lot. Dragon jumped on top of the building of our workplace, handcuffed the yellow Flock, and injected it with a tranquilizer. Dragon called for back up that he caught the suspect as the tornado sirens got louder at four in the morning. “EVERYONE GET READY! IT’S GOING TO BE A LONG DAY!” Ivan shouted as the Ravens came out to join. “Are these stinky turkey looking flocks coming out that early in the morning? Are you f*****g kidding me?” Naki asked as he activated his kagune. “Honey! We don’t have a f*****g choice! I’m too cranky for this s**t right now! How do you think I feel getting done with work 10 hours ago until we saw this?!” Miza snapped as she stood guard in front of main doors. “Alright, alright, geez. I’ll stand next to you, hun.” Naki said as he did not argue when he saw another flock shows up. Radios go off that the cities are under a crisis because a group of Elettra supporters started rioting at the gentlemen’s club screaming “f**k men!” outside of the buildings that early in the morning. They were using spray paint writing derogatory all over the walls. TSC and law enforcement stepped up to protect the citizens who are not part of the hate group. They were using tall objects to smash vehicles and business windows. Ghoul couple tried to get out of traffic until one of the rioters smashed his side of the window and tried to attack the husband in front of the wife. His wife stepped out of the vehicle and fought back with the rioter. She was concerned that he would be labeled as the bad guy if he were to get in trouble for laying hands on another female. Wife had to activate her kagune to protect her husband. “Leave us alone! My husband did nothing wrong to any of your crazy asses!” The wife snapped as she activated her kagune to flee them off. One of them also dragged an elderly ghoul gentleman off his seat, tore his newspaper in half, tied him up on a light pole, and dumped garbage on him as they treated him like a laughingstock. “That’s my grandfather! Let him go you bullies!” The granddaughter jumped out of the window of the apartment and attack them with her kagune. Downtown escalated worst that men were given wedgies and tied on light poles naked with underwear on that innocent men were crying for help. One of them egged another man’s car and threw pies at him. “What the f**k?” Seidou asked as he froze into shock. “We’ve walked into a s**t show! I thought it was going to be noon or something.” Hercules said as he grabbed his weapon to protect himself. “I thought so too son! This is immature s**t!” Seidou said as he activated his kagune. TSC swat team arrived on the Aogiri Tree Reservation to detain the two flocks and capture the other flock on the parking lot. We are called to meet at the cities urgently to do something about these female rioters who let the website manipulate them into believing that all men are evil. “The rioters must be detained and walked on foot!” Kaye shouted on the radio. “Queen Touka has ordered to detain the female rioters and make them walk all the way to the stadium on foot. We will be on state lockdown until the main suspect is captured!” Ivan announced on our radios. After the flocks got detained, Dragon and I arrived to detain the rioters until he witnessed Seika jumping on top of vehicles, smashing their windows, and throwing miscellaneous items at men. “WHEN DOES HE EVER f*****g LISTEN TO ME?! f**k MEN WHO DON’T PAY ATTENTION TO THEIR LOVERS!” Seika screamed on the top of her lungs in tears. “Moira! I hate to call at a troubled time, but it’s about Seika! She is out of control!” Dragon called until she tore a rear-view mirror and threw it on his chest. “We are on our way now!” Moira responded and urgently traveled with her wolves. “Hey! What is wrong with you? Do you really want to hurt your friends who are family to you? Bring it!” Dragon angrily activated his kagune and stood in front of her. “Honey, hold your kagune! Go take care of the detaining! I will deal with Seika when Moira arrives here!” I said sternly to avoid the troubles that could get hold against him. “Seika! We are in the middle of a crisis! What’s the matter with you?” I questioned as I activated my kagune as self protection. “What do you think, Viola? You’re a woman! You survived from that hell hole too! You should be angry of what Takers has done to us!” Seika kept smashing windows and throwing things. “That doesn’t give you the right to hurt anyone! I thought we’ve agreed to heal! How can you heal when you are letting relationship problems and Sawyer history get the best of you?” I spoke out loud as she tried to throw things at me. I used my kagune to push the items aside. “SEIKA TAKIZAWA!” Moira shouted loud enough as she stopped and dropped the damaged item on the ground. “COME HERE! FRONT IN CENTER RIGHT NOW, SISTER!” Seika put away her kagune, jumped off the vehicle, and slowly shaking walked with her head down to her. “Thank you, Viola. You can go back and finish the mission. I will deal with my sister personally.” Moira said as she pulled Seika by the ear to take care of family matters. “You are under arrest for destruction to properties, disturbing the peace, and disorderly conduct. You are going to walk with the rioters in front of everyone. You are going to learn the consequences for your actions today. Congratulations Seika, you forced my hand to arrest my own sister. Walk!” Moira spoke with angry expression on her face as she handcuffed her sister, pointed to the direction, and made her walk right in front of the crowd. Hercules and Seidou were in shock to see Seika in handcuffs walking front of the crowd. The Hollow Guard arrived on time to secure the streets and direct them to the stadium. A lot of the rioters are detained and forced to walk with handcuffs behind their backs. The three flocks are tranquilized and transported to the maximum security. The citizens stayed in doors, locked doors, secured the windows, and kept their fireplaces burning to avoid any kind of intruders happening. TSC and security guards kept Kaneki and Touka’s home safe and secure. Kaneki quietly checked on Ichika to make sure that she was still asleep throughout the night. Touka watched through the window sipping her cup of coffee in tears. Kaneki placed her cup on the table, wrapped his arms around her, and kissed her forehead. “That was not a protest. It was nothing but hate and violence.” Touka cried on her husband's shoulder. “It’s devastating to watch our home city be ruined. Soon as they have everyone gathered, rioters will be confronted at the stadium. We will not tolerate this gender hate behavior in our city.” Kaneki leaned onto her shoulder.
