Chapter Eight ~ Consequences

Angry female rioters pouted and complained for hours while walking in handcuffs to the field of the stadium as they sat on the wet grounds. Few of them mumbled under their breath cussing and swearing at the Hollow Guard members and TSC members.

“Shut up and keep walking!” Sexy Bae snapped as they eyed at the ground walking. Seika turned away from Sexy Bae the moment when Dragon’s sister saw her walking. She shook her head in disappointment to find out that Seika joined the crowd. Dragon came up to Sexy Bae with an ice pack on his chest.

“Bro! What happened to you?” Sexy Bae asked.

“I can’t talk about it right now. We will explain this incident to you later.” He responds quietly as he walked back to the area where the incidents happened.

“Alright.” She said as she kept staring at Seika and wondering in her own thoughts. “Seriously? Why the hell did Seika join in with the crowd? Did she disrespect my brother? I can see that guilt on her face.”

It was a cloudy late morning at the stadium small flurries falling from the clouds. I walked on the streets of downtown seeing the damages of the buildings, vehicles, businesses, and citizens families are in tears behind the windows of their homes. An elderly ghoul man cried on the bench that his African restaurant destroyed and ruined. I came up to him and sympathized with hugs. His granddaughter came up to me and cried on my side. I hugged both. I felt tears in my eyes because we have human friends who loved his homemade meals. Another man curled into a ball on the sidewalk in underwear as medical team arrived to help the man pick himself up off the ground and slowly walked him in the back of the ambulance. Dragon showed up to the local business and helped cleaned up his shop a little as Ivan came to the both of us.

“Please don’t worry about sweeping the floors. Make sure our citizens are safe and check for injuries.” Ivan said to him.

“Understood.” He responded as he came to us and checked on the citizens. He also felt bad of what they did to his food shop.

“Alright everyone! Now our citizens transported to hospitals, evaluated for injuries, and checked in for safety! Medical team already got them covered! It is time to meet at the stadium up front with our King and Queen!” Ivan said as he kept an eye on the rioters walking on the field.

The field is almost packed with rioters in handcuffs sitting on cold ground whispering and pouting. We walked up to the stadium on the first roll where all the Aogiri Tree leaders are sitting next to TSC leaders. The rest of us walked up next to the stage to stand and keep in mind on our situational awareness and be aware of our surroundings. Ravens stood on top of the vicinity of the stadium to protect our King and Queen. The Juuzou squad walked up stage to open the shades for Queen Touka and King Kaneki as we all bowed down until they seated to their special chairs. Sexy bae screamed at the rioters to stand up and bow as the ground hesitated, quickly got up, and bowed.

“You’ve all may be seated.” Kaneki said as we have seated.

“To the people who were part of this derogatory website created by an imposter, we are very hurt and disappointed that you all have caused destruction and violence to our citizens and children in our home country. We will not tolerate gender hate and all forms of discrimination into our home. This place is supposed to be our haven, land of peace and freedom. You have caused fear and stress towards everyone. Be thankful that our fellow members did not hurt you in any way. Be thankful that you are detained on this field right now. If any of you provoked hatred towards our members, they would have retaliated against you. Our Cyber team will be doing a deep investigation and banning the website at once. It’s getting track down and held responsible. The so-called Queen of the flocks will be hunt down. Today, it will be on state lock down until further notice. Nobody is going to be able to travel out of state until all the flocks are captured and Elettra must be executed. Also, to the survivors who choose to act this way. We supported your pain. How can any of you sleep at night after the pain and damage you caused today? How are we going to be better if you still hold onto hatred towards another group who had nothing to do with your past? How would you feel if someone did the same to you? That behavior is not an excuse to be cruel to everyone. For now, we suggest that you all need to start reflecting yourselves and hold yourselves accountable for your own actions. We will have rioters start community service tonight in downtown. It’s time to straighten yourselves out. This home needs time to recover. Our people need time to recover. We send our healing, love, and hope to everyone of you. Hollow guard and TSC, please escort the rioters to our detention centers. We want to thank all our Aogiri Tree members for handling the situation and capturing the flocks.” Queen Touka said her final statement as rioters escorted off the field into the buses. Seika walked into the bus and avoided all eye contact. We got up from our seats and bowed.

We arrived back home as Hercules walked upstairs from the basement holding his son with tears in his eyes. He carried his suitcase and diaper bag to his parent's car and put his son in the car seat. After he put his son in the backseat of the car, Hercules went back downstairs to do one last thing was he left a note and necklace on her bed. Hercules walked up to Dragon, hugged him, and cried on his shoulder. “I’m sorry, brother.” He sobbed.

“Listen man, you do what you need to do for you and your son. No need to apologize. Take much time as needed.” Dragon sympathized.

“Thanks man. I am going to see my sister Larissa at the ward.” Hercules said as slowly walked to his parent's car and sat in the backseat next to his son. His parents drove off as Dragon went back inside and sat next to me on the couch as Shae jumped on the couch next to Moira while she sipped her coffee.

“Would you all be okay going to Aogiri Tree Family diner in our hometown later? I need to deal with personal matters with Seika tonight.” Moira asked us.

“We can go out tonight. Is she getting out of the detention center?” I asked.

“She will be home after community service. Hercules is not in a good state of mind. He is taking his son with him to his parents' house. Hercules and his son will not be in our home for a while until Seika sorts her own s**t out, but he will still be with us on our missions. So, I had Ezra go through her phone and laptop this morning. Also, you will not believe what I just found out. I don’t like going through my sister's electronics. Hercules noticed something extremely off about her past few months. Not only she was following Elettra’s web page, but she was on another website called Boy Toyz! It’s a filthy site for female predators to flirt or take advantage of married men. She’s been going behind his back and emotionally cheating on him by talking to another man on Snapchat. I don’t know what has gotten into her god damn mind. I did not raise my sister to be that sloppy. That makes me really question my sister's morals. I want to keep our household informed of what will happen tonight because what I am about to do to her is not going to be pretty.” Moira said with disgust expression as Dragon gasped, and I face palmed and said, “Oh no…”

“What is going to happen to her later on?” Dragon asked

“She is going to be on suspension from missions and fired from her job at the plant. It will be a very unpleasant conversation which I would rather deal with her alone than show my rage in front of everyone. I will have Miza present with me tonight while you all are out dining.” Moira said as Miza walked in the door in pajamas, purse, and coffee from Anteiku.

“Don’t mind me folks. At least I received a good nap before I stopped at the drive thru for a large cup of coffee and fresh meat. Naki and his brothers are watching The Proud Family with the kids. I have the feeling that we might become short staff after Seika’s termination.” Miza said with tiredness.

“It’s okay. We are glad you made it here.” Kaye smiled.

“We will discuss tomorrow about our council meeting about our final mission coming soon. Be safe tonight everyone.” Moira said as Miza sat on the couch to talk.

I walked back upstairs into our room and Dragon stepped outside for a cigarette to watch Shae run in the yard to catch rabbits while Miza and Moira talk in the living room. After this morning, I had the urge to grab that bottle of wine and drink that wine until it is gone but chose not to drink at this time. I could imagine how Moira feels watching her sister falling into the dark path. But I didn’t understand why she would join the crowd and screamed at me about being a woman. I started to believe that Elettra might be brainwashing other women into believing this man hate nuisance. I want to destroy Elettra who was nothing but stolen DNA. I laid on my back with my eyes closed as I saw a red slither flying in front of me towards into the forest. I followed the red slither as it enters a cave full of abducted men caged and tied up onto polls. The red slither transformed into Elettra laughing as she removed the cover off the cage at a circus of Dragon screaming help in a cage as all the female flocks sat laughing at him on stage with some annoying ass circus music playing in the background. “Well, well, well, Viola. Shame on you for choosing him. You are to be a feminist. Not a male lover. How would your dead girlfriend feel about that?” Elettra taunted with an echo voice as I activated my kagune and screamed, “LET HIM GO! DON’T f*****g HURT HIM! YOU IGNORANT f*****g b***h!” I heard another voice as I woke up and panicked with my kagune activated.

“Viola! It’s just me, you are okay.” Dragon stepped back for a moment as I froze my kagune and sat down on the bed. Dragon sat next to me and held my hand. I cried on his shoulder as he embraced his arms around me. “I am here, honey.”

“That Queen of flocks taunted me in my dreams.” I sobbed as he kissed my forehead.

“We will destroy it together on our final mission. I promise our life will be in peace again.” Dragon said.

“What time is it?” I asked.

“Well, it’s 7:00 PM right now. Want to shower before we leave the house tonight?” He asked.

“Yes, let’s get ready.” I smiled. We grabbed our clean clothing from the closet and towels. Dragon turned on the water. He undressed me as I undressed him. We walked in through the curtains and made out under the shower. During our make out session, we grabbed our asses and sucked on each others' bodies. “Good evening! How’s everyone doing tonight?” He asked as he gave our menus and poured our coffees.

“We are doing okay sir. Thank you.” Ezra responded.

“I will be your waiter tonight. I’ll give y’all’s time to order.” Waiter said as he went back to refill coffees. We saw Banjou and Seidou sat at the bar area talking and drinking their coffee. They usually like to come out every week to chill. It felt nice being out at the restaurant to have coffee for once. I always love the smell of coffee.

Seika quietly walked in the house and shut the door. Shae started barking until Moira turned the living room light on with Miza on the couch with her arms crossed with frown expression on her face. Seika stood in silence and dropped her bag on the floor.

“Sit your ass down.” Moira said in a calm voice.

“Where is my son? Where is Hercules?” Seika asked furiously.

“They are at his parent’s house. Right now, first you need to explain this s**t!” Moira slammed the papers of the printed screen shots of the websites and Snapchat on the coffee table. Seika widened her eyes in shock.

“Second! Why did you join with the Elettra supporters going around destroying vehicles with your kagune, screaming like a f*****g animal, and throwing things at Dragon when they were trying to help you? What do you have to say about it?” Moira questioned with angry stare in her eyes.

“I don’t know.” Seika went quiet with her head down.

“Oh really? You have nothing to say. All right. The past few months, you have been distant from everyone in this household! You have been picking fights with Hercules! Bitching about your partner, child, and home life! Destroyed our kitchen wall! Acting childish at work and during our missions for this whole GOD DAMN TIME! Joined the riot and damaged properties! You assaulted Dragon by tossing a rear-view mirror at him! Now, I find out through Cyber team that you’ve been on the man hate website! Also, you were on a dirty site called BOY TOYZ! You have been hurting Hercules by chatting with another dude behind his back! WHAT THE f**k?! EXPLAIN NOW!” Moira snapped as she slammed her fist on the table.

“I thought he was in love with that flock in the ward. He’s always busy. Postpartum kicking me in the ass. I thought if I could get his attention by doing stupid shit.” Seika admitted her insecurities.

“If you feel that worse, you should have called me then we would have taken you to a doctor to get you seen. You do realize that flock that he was trying to figure out was his sister. That was no excuse to cause massive self destruction. How would your child feel watching his mother destroy her relationship with the father of your child? How would he feel watching his mother damage herself?” Miza questioned bluntly.

“Really? Are you insane? Do you know why everyone is not home right now?” Moira asked.

“I guess I disappointed everyone.” She said with her head down.

“Not only you hurt Hercules and your child, but you hurt me and your family! You embarrassed yourself in front of everyone! The Aogiri Tree elders and our King and Queen are very ashamed of your behavior! I did not expect my sister to cause such act of betrayal and destruction in our household! This can put an effect on your reputation!” Moira yelled as she shook her head angrily.

“You can blame postpartum all you want, but your actions do have consequences. You are about to lose your job. You will have to give up your badge tomorrow morning. We cannot welcome you in our home until you get your s**t together. Akira and Amon can’t speak to you for a while. Your actions hurt this entire family.” Miza said with her arms crossed.

“We sympathized with you and helped you through everything when you survived out of the Sawyer! We were so happy when you found love with Hercules and had a child with him! I was so happy to be an aunt! We vouched for you for all this damn time! We were so proud of you! Now you want to throw everything away by turning yourself into an enemy?! You are not going to like me what I am about to say tonight. You should be scared. You are on thin ice with everyone in this household. You will no longer be part of our missions again. You are officially kicked out of Night watches team. YOU NEED GROW UP AND PULL YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR f*****g ASS! I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU EVER COME SIDEWAYS AGAIN, I WILL SEND YOU AWAY TO A WOMEN’S SHELTER AND YOU’LL NEVER SEE HERCULES AND YOUR CHILD AGAIN! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?!” Moira uncorked on her sister.

“Ye…yes...” Seika stuttered in tears.

“You have crossed few lines that I don’t want to see you right now. Get out of my sight!” Moira said as Kaye came downstairs and rubbed her back.

“Thank you for bringing me here. Please let me know if you fellas need anything.” Miza said as she hugged Moira.

Seika ran downstairs back into the room in tears that she felt a knot in her stomach. She saw the necklace and opened the letter on the bed from Hercules. She slammed her face against the pillow crying and rolled on her back putting the necklace on her chest.

“What have I done?” Seika cried starring at the ceiling all night.
