Chapter 30 F arasie allowed a fleeting smile just at the same time that Nusmen, forty miles south, looked up and beamed from ear to ear. Only moments ago, Nusmen had been in handcuffs in the back of a dark van with two heavily armed, tough-looking men. Suddenly he was in a glass-sided office looking into one of the most fantastic labs he had ever seen. Machines blinked and hummed.
